I agree with MG-TOWER on this one. An economic collapse has been brewing for a long time. We are the 99% that has been robbed and looted and left penniless and indebt. The USA will implode and the only strategy I see working is self-reliance and subsistent farming.

I wouldn’t rely on the Digital economy. All of this Digital technology hasn’t been around for very long and a big solar storm could knock it all out and transistor technology will be garbage. The next “Carrington Event” would be a disaster for the Digital Economy.

I’m going larger and larger every year on farming for subsistence! I still have one last Zucchini from fall after giving a few dozen away! IF Hildabeast would have won, I would say in the next 4 years. No economy can sustain over half the population not working and only a fraction paying taxes. Trump has changed the format. More people working, more business, more money changing hands in the local community. If Trump is able to set in motion more reforms collapse will not happen in our lifetime.

The reason is simple. Gold is a thousand dollars and ounce. Silver is between $10 to $20 an ounce. One can trade an ounce of silver for a few meals and still break even. An ounce of gold for a few meals would be wasteful.

Also, while many governments, including the U.S. federal government have worked to seize gold in the past, silver has been overlooked on occasion.

In addition, old “silverware” from a century ago or older can contain silver. So if you inherit such “heirlooms” as old silverware, do not throw it away.
