One from the King.
Maybe it isn’t quite, but I get a vibe from it from the Kung Fury song… True Survivor:
I like it anyway.
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
Reminded me of Blue Pill Hell in a nutshell, LMAO, Rammstein ahead of its time. \m/
– Snow-white snorting gold. I mean, that alone is genius.
– Man slaves worshiping, loving her and working for her approval and her “high”
-----------
And here is another one I found, by Phil Collins that I think fits:
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
I feel this song by Pink Floyd would fit, somehow:
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
Hi,
Long time browser – first time poster. I might have conversed with some of you on Twitter though.
Will explain my story for another day, but just really wanted to share this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF3xfFML0cA
It is by Axel Rudi Pell, one of my top 3 favourite bands.
Listen to the Lyrics:You were born on judgement day,
but you don’t care and go your own way.
You’re living your life and you made your own laws.
Fellowship forever, your freeing, your souls.
Sometimes it seems that you’re dancing with the devil.
And you recognize that the price for freedom is high.
The brotherhood in your life is your highest call.
You’re the chosen ones, all for one and for all.
Riding with the brothers
through the wind and the rain.
You’re proud of your colour,
and can feel no pain,
feel no pain.
Forever angel, yeah.
Keep on riding,
and fight for your rights.
Forever angel.
Roaring thunder
through endless nights.
Riding with the brothers
through the wind and the rain.
You’re proud of your colour,
and can feel no pain.
I can feel no pain.
(instrumental)
Yeah, forever angel.
Keep on riding,
and fight for your rights.
Forever angel.
Roaring thunder
through endless nights.
Forever angel,
forever!
Keep on riding,
and fight for your rights.
Forever angel,
ever angel!
Roaring thunder
through endless nights.
The singer, Johnny Gioeli, is my favourite singer of all time. (That is him in my profile) There are plenty more that I could post by him when I get a moment that I think fit the MGTOW mentality.
But what his songs really make me think about is just how meaningful and soulful they are. By that I mean, is it just me, but do men sing with more compassion/feeling? There are some exceptions, but for the most part, I feel women singing lacks something that men have…I notice it especially on cover songs on Youtube by women.
They are singing the lyrics, they are tuneful enough…….but it is as if they do not quite understand the full meaning or depth of the lyrics. Perhaps this is why there are very few female lyric writers. Often a female artist will not write any of them, or at the very best have a male co-writer. Rare is the woman who writes nearly all her own songs.Does anyone else have an idea what I mean?
I am surprised this one has not been mentioned yet!
Carry On Wayword SonMost notable lyrics;
“Once I rose above the noise and confusion,
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too highThose my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I am dreaming”And this was in another post. I think it fits:
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
MGTOW hymn by one of my favorite bands who never had a single line of pussified garbage. Straight masculinity. Primal s~~~
The hook goes: “Open up your mind and go your own way”
proud carrier of the 'why?' chromosome
An old favourite of mine:
I would add Get Back to this thread, as per suggestion by someone else in another thread:
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
And another one…
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
I got two to add here. Someone upthread added “We didn’t start the Fire” by Billy Joel. I was surprised not to see “She’s always a woman to me” by Billy Joel here. Its slow and sounds sweet on the surface, but even the compliments in this song are really indictments on womanhood. This is stealthy MGTOW.
The other is from Dr. Dre, but I like the Ben Folds Five cover because it shocks the mind into listening closer to the lyrics.
I became a MGTOW because this was the only logical solution for a man survive in a world replete of gynocentrism and biased against men!
This is THE MGTOW song to me! Just listen to this:
“You’ve got a ring on your finger, a chain around your heart and soul
Searching for an answer, looking for your own controlWalk away from the leader, walk away from the books
Walk away from the TV, take a long hard look
And you can go your own way”If there is an interest in focusing on the My Own Way of MGTOW, I found there are a bunch of songs reflecting that.
One of them would be Frank Sinatra’s My Way:
"I am my own thang. Any questions?" - Davis S Pumpkins.
Oh, how could I neglect Frankie boy? Thanks Richard!

It looks like the void manage to eat a reply I was doing for you, with some good videos on songs about My Own Way. There are a number of them.
But, looking now at it, there are likely WAY too many one can go to. I will leave this link for others to sort through:
