Personally, I have NO problem with the LGBTQ community, and yes this man should be punished for destroying someone else’s property, but would a Socialist/Liberal/Antifa member receive anywhere near close to the same punishment for setting someone else’s American flag on firer?

Adolfo Martinez, 30, of Ames, was found guilty last month of third-degree arson in violation of individual rights — hate crime, third-degree harassment, and reckless use of fire as a habitual offender.
He was arrested after stealing a pride banner hanging at Ames United Church of Christ, 217 6th St., and burning it early June 11 outside Dangerous Curves Gentleman’s Club, 111 5th St., police said.
So I agree that 16 years is preposterous for this crime, even though its really obvious this guy is a total scumbag. I think a few years in prison would have been enough, and that is only because he is an repeat arsonist.
I agree, the dude is a whacko and should serve some time, not 16 years, but some time because he did steal private property. However, why can so many hate filled pieces of schit legally burn the U.S. flag because it’s called freedom of speech, but when this dude burns a phag flag it’s called a hate crime?
Fukk this schit. Burning the flag of the United States in protest is one of the biggest hate crimes there is. The only legal reason to burn the flag should be when it is during a ceremony for proper disposal of a flag that is no longer in fit condition to be flown.

Yeah Hermit has it right here. You don’t go stealing stuff and burning it. That needs some punishment. However had he bought it himself and burned it I would treat it as nothing but someone being nasty. I personally would not send him to jail until every burner of the national flag was in jail for at least tice as long. The individual has no rights in the world today without his country. Burn your country’s flag and you deserve to be made stateless.

It brings forth many interesting questions. I’m a heterosexual. Do I have ‘heterosexual pride’? Am I ‘proud’ simply because I am attracted to women? What ‘accomplishment’ is such an innate attraction, to be ‘proud’ of in the first place? It makes no more sense to speak of ‘black pride’, ‘gay pride’, etc, than it does for me to speak of ‘heterosexual pride’. Do asexuals with low libido have ‘asexual pride’? Does being born white cause me to have ‘white pride’? No. Accomplishing REAL GOALS in the REAL WORLD is what causes you to have pride!
Now maybe they mean ‘self confidence’ when they say pride. Has ‘black pride’ improved the lives of blacks in the ghetto? No. It won’t. Discipline and hard work, not ‘pride’ will improve their lives. Attending marches and rallies will not develop real skills. Though it may get you a community organizer job in a leftist organization. Blaming the police for shooting blacks, will not get you off welfare and get you a job. Only YOU can do that.

I could care less if churches condoning and marrying gays exist; churches are always schisming based on differences in beliefs. And so we have many denominations. Not my concern, so long as the State is separate from the Churches.
Which brings forth another question. What, exactly, is a ‘hate crime’? If I murder you because I wanted to steal your car or wallet, is that a ‘love crime’? Are you any less dead, whether I murder you for your wallet, or because you are gay or black? My problem with ‘hate crimes’ are that they violate equal treatment under the law. 16 years is longer than most MURDERERS serve. Charge the jackass for the cost of the flag and treat it like any other property theft…
I believe you should be able to burn any godd*mn flags you want, gay, Nazi, American, etc if YOU own it. This is called your the right to free expression. Whether a government tolerates UNPOPULAR and CRITICAL speech is the true test of whether you have FREE speech and a FREE country. Every time someone burns a US flag it’s another testament to what a relatively free we live in where you can burn that flag. Civil freedoms/freedom of expression at least. Economic freedom in America, not so much.

Gravel Pit is an AA Member. He has seen just about every kind of person out there. And I think he has a good deal of experience with people as well. So if he calls some bulls~~~, its going to happen. And really, if I have to be honest, its one of the best things about white people IMO. They bother to care. Not many other races have that. And if I say that? So you just have to make do the best you can. Afterall. It must hurt a bit that if I told people that I was the person who was head of a large organization that pushes The SUpreme Arayan dogma, that might not be sort of lead people to think that they were being fooled or played. would it not?
