I’ve set up a trading account and want to buy stock in some gun companies, mainly Smith & Wesson. Everytime their is a mass shooting these stocks go up, and I think before the end of the election year they could go through the roof – and beyond if Hillary gets into office.

The prices of Gun companies may briefly fluctuate based on emotion going into and just after the election cycle. Even if the proposal for no gun purchases for people on watch lists or no fly lists were to pass Congress, it would almost instantaneously be thrown out by Senate. If Hillary Clinton is elected, imho, there won’t be any significant or even barely noticeable changes to gun ownership laws during her potential eight years in office. The current president has been trying for years. As far as the stocks over the long haul, Firearms Manufacturing Companies should be very good long term companies to own.

I bought Gun Stocks when Obama was elected. The first time. I bought more when he was re-elected. If Hillary wins I will make a tidy sum. 🙂

I would rather guy the guns, rather than gun stocks. The stock market will mean for nothing, once society collapses and degrades into a chaotic, Mad Max style dystopia.

I hear stories all the time, from back in the 1994 when the first Clinton’s Assault Rifle ban was signed into law. People who went out and purchased “assault” rifles before the ban, were selling them for many times the purchase price, in private sales after the ban was in force.

If/when the second Clinton gets into office, expect the same thing to happen when she rams her “assault” rifle ban through congress.
