I just wanted to introduce myself
I was raised by a malfunctional single mother who let me know that I was a burden to her on a nearly daily basis. I learned nothing useful from her other than how to maintain a low profile , which is a skill that I taught myself, I suppose. Occasionally, my caretaking was performed by a schizophrenic Aunt, which was, to say the least, interesting. I also had an abusive stepmother. Between these three bitches, I suppose that I was trained to accept f~~~ed up behavior from women, Indeed, my first long term relationships where with the most bat-s~~~ crazy females that you can imagine. Eventually I learned to expect better behavior from women, and in time, I met and married my second wife. She was a hard worker, compassionate, and trustworthy. We had two great kids. She died of ovarian cancer about 6 years ago, and I was devastated, but I had two kids to raise, and bills to pay, and I pretty much just shut up and marched. As time passed, I decided to try on line dating. What a joke! My experience has been that many women on these websites are on heavy-duty antidepressant medication, have multiple behavioral issues, and are single for a good reason. The worst are the ones that work as marriage counselors!
I have abandoned the idea of dating any of these losers, and have chosen to go MGTOW after reading a great deal of the content on youtube, and finding that much of what was said made sense to me.
Anyone, male or female, that thinks that feminism is a good idea has not bothered to read the seminal feminist literature. I recall reading “the Feminist mystique” by Betty Freidan when it first came out and being absolutely appalled at the idea that anyone thought any of the concepts espoused in this book were good ideas. Freidan, Greer, and the others of the same ilk had very problematic childhoods, and feminism is their revenge upon society
My favorite youtubers are Terrance Popp and Turd Flinging Monkey. Their material is well researched, and intelligently presented. I do believe that at this point however, many youtubers are now preaching to the choir, and I would like to see some content dedicated to topics such as personal growth and intellectual/spiritual development.
I am 59 years old, a veteran and, as I said before, a dad. I like to restore old electronic equipment and automobiles. I am in the process of designing a relay based computer, because I have an interest in older technologies. I am a also a ham radio operator. I am an electrical engineer and work in power generation and distribution.
That is pretty much where I come from in a nutshell. I would like to hear from other guys with similar interests

    hello and welcome,

What a joke! My experience has been that many women on these websites are on heavy-duty antidepressant medication, have multiple behavioral issues, and are single for a good reason. The worst are the ones that work as marriage counselors!

    LOL
I know of a female that had an affair with her marriage guidance therapist and divorced her husband and found out the love of her life counsellor was known to prey on his clients. She then went on to be a therapist herself and is bats~~~ crazy but has a thriving client base mostly men.Crazy world

Welcome, Herbertwest.. I lost my mother to ovarian cancer. Unlike you, I was never around any woman with f~~~ed up behavior and mental disorders while I was growing up. I didn’t see the s~~~ty behavior and mental illnesses until I married at 30. By then it was too late. You found the right site and you will learn a lot. I’m looking forward to your input. Where ever you are from, thank you for your service.

Even if you were fighting for the ‘other’ side, thank you for your service. I respect any man who puts his life on the line to protect others. I am sorry for your loss and congratulate you on raising your kids by yourself instead of exposing them to some nutjob stepmother just so you can get laid. Also, very nice hobbies you have there. I hope you’ll share some of your projects with us.
    Welcome!

The answer is NO. โ€œI could but I wonโ€™tโ€. Memini murum!

Very good intro Herbertwest. A very warm Welcome.

I love tinkering with old technology (mostly on superfluous levels- restoring the looks, opening old laptops cleaning them etc).

Happy to have you here ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello ? Herbertwest, nice to see another mature man on here, while we are over the moon to see many young mgtow’s singing up here, it is wonderful to see mature men become mgtow’s, we are after all worldly wise and have the experiences that our young mgtow’s so desperately need, from the mature men here.
I view it like older brothers helping our younger brothers to become educated in best how to navigate this misandrist society.
Welcome Brother, you are amongst friends who NEED you and your knowledge. Welcome!
