Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. I’m new to this site, although I’m not new to the concept or the movement itself. I found the Sexodus article a few months ago on Facebook, and I thought that it described my thought process to a T. Of course, I can’t really talk about to my peers, especially the ones that I have where I live currently. Being in the National Guard as well, if I mention that I don’t go out all the time, or that I’m not constantly trying to find sex, they think I’m gay (Don’t join the military if you have this mindset. You will get ridiculed by the older generation). Now although I say that I have a mindset like the Sexodus, it isn’t 100%. For instance, I believe that a woman/man relationship can still happen, and that there are more woman that disagree with “rape culture” than there are that do.

As far as this movement, there is something that I would like to see come out of it: Perceptions of relationship starting. Speaking for myself, I’m shy and soft spoken (which also leads to ridicule in the military). So when it comes to meeting women, obviously I don’t have much success. Although, once the first word is generally spoken, I tend to break out of shyness quickly. The main problem comes though from the fact that most women aren’t conversation starters, especially when it comes to strangers. Maybe it’s because I’m ugly, but generally if I don’t start a conversation with a woman, they will have nothing to do with me. And even when I get a conversation started, the next day we meet it’s the same as before. This is something that I would like changed for my fellow shy men. Women: Start the conversation!

I’m not too sure if that was a good intro or not. Looking at it, seems more like a rambling tangent instead of a intro. I’m really not too good at introductions, to be honest. I never really know what to say about myself. So, if you wanna know anything, just ask!

Hey Frisbee  Everyone here has the right to, their own exclusive definition of themselves…This is best described by the definition in the “about” section…what you would like to see come out of mgtow may be a pipe dream…

As far as this movement, there is something that I would like to see come out of it: Perceptions of relationship starting.

Everyone here has a different path and expectations from participating here, and everyone here don’t even agree it’s a movement at all….some here think all you should expect out of a movement is a s~~~ty piece of toilet paper every morning…. I believe for some here mgtow is the anti-movement….Welcome to MGTOW, enjoy the forum.

this may get old to some, but im gonna keep this in my replys,

The definition of MGTOW .  If some of you have not heard I managed to publish it three times on urban dictionary.com  I up-vote all three once a day,  every day. I noticed 6 down-votes today.. so I have taken to down-voting all the others  1. by blue bastard=down  2. by trooper555=down 3. by mgtow for life=down  4th  5th  6th all copied and pasted from this site=up-vote  Hoping everyone here will spread the word and push our definitions to the top of the page….

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
