Greetings MGTOW Brothers,
I have been a lurker for several months, yet have become increasingly aware of this group and it’s purpose. I have know one MGTOW member for many years and while he has been suggesting that I join, it was only after meeting two other MGTOW brothers this past weekend that the overall theme of MGTOW fully resonated.
It is not about any one path, or even one coherent goal, but that each of us is walking with a purpose that heals and empowers everyone involved.
I am mid 50’s, have never married and just recently retired from the US Army Reserves after 30 plus years. I work as an Information Technologist for a University within North Carolina. After losing both parents recently to long term medical issues, I finally decided to go my own way, personally and professionally.
Like others I have jettisoned the glamour of Facebook and Skype interactions for those friends that represent the aspects of life that I had temporarily shelved. The artificial stereotypes of current society have lost their appeal and I am glad that I finally took the step to join this group. I look forward to meeting other members both virtually and in person.

Hey GregBo, it was great meeting with you and Greg Honda over the weekend. Greg made it to Pete’s and they’re partying hard and having a good time. Enjoy the fellowship here. Welcome to the forums.

Welcome out of the shadows and into the light! Always happy to have another voice in the discussion 🙂
No-one's yet explained to me exactly what's so great // About slaving fifty years away on something that you hate // About meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity // Well if that's your road then take it, but it's not the road for me.
Welcome brother from another mid age military guy-
We both dogged the big M bullet too looks like –
I never found FB all that glamorous though and just use Skype for family and business connections.Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
Welcome GregB0, I Wish you the best on here.

Hi Tuneou, first deployed during Desert Shield/Storm, then the Balkans, Iraq, Germany and then the Stan. Duty was good but the Army has changed very much, not sure if anyone had you six these days.

Welcome to the group, and thank you for your service, defending one’s country is a calling not many answer.
You might meet a few more people than you think considering the network is growing stronger.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
Welcome GregBo! I look forward to your postings from your specific background. I’m sorry your parents have passed away as I can only imagine how difficult that will be when it happens to me. Life is eternal brother and they are still all around you. Peace be with you.
Thanks Freedom for your support and know that it makes a difference to everyone who is on the line.

Thank you Blacque Jacque. I will say it was for the best however and it does give one pause to consider what truly should be important in life and what in merely window dressing.
I completely agree with you that our existence is not one and done by any means, sacrebleu, this might indeed be a first topic. After I gather some intel on posting and such or course. Best and thank you again
