    Hello Friends

I am new here a week or so, commenting here and there and soaking up the vibe. I’m 61, never married, no kids. Largely MGTOW without even knowing it and now seeing a lot of my own ideas formalized and refined through this site and exposure to other MGTOW resources. You can look up my profile if you want to see more about me but in truth, there isn’t much more.

This site offers a lot of refreshing, much needed stuff. Here’s where things take an unwanted turn for me. I’m a Jew and sometimes (more than I care to count) I read on this site some unmistakable anti-Jewish feeling. Obviously I don’t like it but I’m curious enough to ask where it’s coming from and why it’s important to MGTOW.

Please, men: Serious, sensible replies only. I’m asking my question in all good faith and I expect you to respond in kind. If you reply just to talk s~~~ about Jews, save it. I’ve heard it already.

    Welcome

I’ve been here about 2 and a half years and never seen anything I would construe as anti jewish feeling.

from the time I’ve been here I’ve pretty much seen all men welcome as just men and no one really cares what race they are. it’s pretty much irrelevant

I have seen posts and videos of how Jewish men are being treated in relation to false allegations of domestic violence and that attracted a great deal of sympathy towards the men. So no, I think we support and sympathise with them

I wrote yesterday on another post, that I would like to see men come together internationally in the spirit of brotherhood

Come to Jesus friend. He died for my sins. He died for your sins. He died for all of us sinners in this world; so that, through Him, salvation is here for everyone.

    I plus one’d you.

One of the main appeals of MGTOW for me was the fact that it is multinational and interfaith. I have conversations with MGTOW from all over the world and religion only comes up if we get a topic that questions the existance of a God. I’ve argued long and hard with atheist members and although we rarely agree, I don’t think any less of them.

I have nothing against anyone who doesn’t have something against me. As regards any anti Jewish sentiment you may have picked up on, I would probably link that with anti New World Order ideas which usually focus on a Zionist conspiracy theory. I don’t equate the average Jewish guy with a hardcore Zionist anymore than I equate the average Muslim guy with ISIS, or a Christian guy with the KKK.

One thing I’ve learn’t is that it doesn’t matter what religion or race you may be. We all have to deal with the BS of modern women.

I personally welcome the viewpoints of people with different backgrounds to me. How else can I expand my knowledge?

I hope I have made myself clear and welcome any topics you may wish to post

Women scream “sexism” at any statement they disagree with.

Minorities scream “racism” at any statement they disagree with.

    Anyone see a pattern here?

If you wrap yourself up in identity politics you will find yourself nothing but a puppet for those whom control you.

If you believe your group is without guilt, without fault, without prejudice, where you accuse all those whom disagree with your group of being a bigot of one form or another than you are worse than what you accuse others of being.

This forum is a bastion of constructive criticism in a world that screams “bigotry” at anything it does not like.

    Welcome to the forums.

There are some people who harbor those ideas(Zionist conspiracy lovers), but most of them left in a huff, because they inevitably got into it with people who stood up to them.

Don’t be afraid to put them in their place if you have to.

I don’t know why you think I was baiting you. It was an Intro and a serious question. If you think it’s bait you can just stay away from it.

Serious, sensible replies only. I’m asking my question in all good faith and I expect you to respond in kind.

My ancestors all came over from Scandinavia. I always thought that was my background and heritage. I recently did one of those DNA tests to trace ancestry .. I opted for the more expensive one for more accuracy. To my surprise, I have some measurable Jewish ancestors as well as a fair amount of Irish area background thrown in as well. Also some Native American bloodline. Still mostly Nordic, but, to make a long story short .. it was interesting to go my whole life just saying I’m 100% Scandinavian and now find out I have lots of distant relatives from other places I never new or dreamed about. Life is interesting. Never a dull moment. Have a great day.

    Hello and welcome JimBob.

In the “about the forums” post, we are clear, and among our short list of requests, we discourage overly-criticizing any race or religion – based on race/religion alone. The actions and behavior of an individual or group is a different story.

Leaving race/religion OUT of it for a moment….

    If a police officer behaves like an asshole . . . .
in principal, it’s OK ( and quite justifiable ) to call him “an asshole”.

What you don’t do, is call him “an asshole cop” — >> because it insults the badge.

It’s just as pointless to say “that asshole catholic cut me off in traffic” — when just “asshole” will do.
Being catholic had nothing to do with that.

Racism is highly unbecoming of MGTOW. This is a universal understanding in our community here. In fact, on the topic of “racism” I am in complete agreement with Morgan Freeman on this. Refuse to talk “race”.

Religion is also a “belief system”…. where MGTOW is not. It’s a lifestyle choice entirely grounded in reality. So what religion you are is totally irrelevant. I can believe in Santa or the Easter Bunny if it brings me some comfort, or provides some guidance, and it changes nothing about my 2 feet otherwise planted firmly on the ground.

Religion is personal and kept close to the heart.

My father once gave me million-dollar advice to never discuss politics or religion with anyone. That has always served me very well, and I never went wrong shutting my mouth on those topics and leaving others quessing. A simple refusal to talk about it also makes for a little mystique, and you become more interesting to other people. Because they have a harder time pigeon-holing you as a “liberal” or a “conservative” or a “jew” or a “protestant”. They would love nothing better.

Deny them that. Keep it off the table. And it drives them a little crazy.

So if it’s OK, I won’t ever think of you as a “Jew” and I would rather you didn’t think of me as a “white man” either. We’re just “MEN” here.

    A big welcome to you.

    Have an excellent day . . . . . . “man”.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Yeah—you identified the type of comment I’m referring to. I haven’t seen any blatant flat out expressions of bigotry here. The comments I’m seeing are of the Zionist-New World Order–SJW-Illuminati conspiracy theory type. IMO it’s just a softer form of anti-semitism by another name. I also see that comments of that type make up a small percentage overall. And, as you said, it has very little to do with the masculine ethic. Thanks for the comment.

I’ve never seen Antisemitism on here. If there have been comments to that effect, they’re the opinions of the individuals saying it rather than anything to do with MGTOW as a group.

Yep–whenever I hear the N word, I write off the person who said it as trash. It’s a solid tell for me.

Welcome. You’re exactly right. When anyone uses derogatory language or descriptions of another group it tells you NOTHING about the group, but it tells you quite a bit about the one being derogatory.

Yes and No. There are a small number of members who still buy into the whole world Zionist conspiracy thing, or they want to be a special pleader for the “woe-is-me” palistinians but as Oakglen pointed out they usually get in a huff when folks don’t agree with them. And a few have stomped off to pout. (THX 1138 and I used to have some real Barn burners on the subject–but I think he quit the site) Elric Greenstone is also Jewish and I don’t believe I’ve hear much in the way of complainants from him…of course he really handles himself well when confronted by by the “world Zionist conspiracy” crowd. So I wouldn’t worry the site is VERY self policing! OUI VEY! Just kidding!

When I grew up my parents had given me the same advice as KM parents, it is the best way to deal with those subjects on here and out there on the streets, Welcome jimbob15217
