CNN Blackmail: Massive Backlash After Network Threatens Reddit User

CNN found itself ensnared in yet another ethical quagmire on Wednesday after a young reporter apparently tracked down the creator of a mock video tweeted by President Donald Trump and extracted an apology from him.

The Reddit user created the controversial animated GIF that showed Trump body-slamming a man at a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) match. The man in the original video was Vince McMahon, the former president of WWE and a personal friend to Trump. In the mock video, the CNN logo was in place of McMahon’s head.

Trump tweeted the video on Sunday, and CNN reacted with outrage. CNN and other journalists claimed the tweet from Trump was not mockery but rather that Trump was encouraging violence against reporters.
It didn’t stop there. CNN’s “KFile” unit tracked down the Reddit user by examining his posts. CNN contacted the man. The man then issued an apology.

And again, CNN did not stop there.

In a July Fourth story laced with editorial comment, CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski seemed to boast of the apology he got after it became clear the Reddit user could be outed publicly.

The apology appears to have come as the Reddit user knew CNN was trying to contact him at home.

Kaczynski wrote that CNN would not name him, showing journalistic mercy.

“He is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again,”

wrote Kaczynski, the head of the “KFile” unit.

But then Kaczynski did something that shocked readers. He seemed to issue a threat against the Reddit user, in case the Reddit user ever reappeared on social media. In a remarkable use of its raw power to bully people, CNN admitted it would out the man if he posted objectionable material again.

SO CNN just keeps digging themselves into an even bigger hole. A 15 year old kid who recently came out as gay. So CNN is now bullying a member of the LGBT and he is a minor. So CNN just made the grave mistake of p~~~ing off the LGBT, Reddit, 4Chan and the entire internet. This will not end well. I suggest this young man get a nice lawyer and sue the f~~~ out of CNN. And just to remind everyone, CNN is also going through a racial discrimination lawsuit at the moment.

I don’t see how CNN thought reporting that they were blackmailing anyone from making negative statements about them was a good idea.

I imagine the kid is more concerned about his parents finding out then anything else. If he was 18, any outing would result in donations rolling into support the kid and his ‘work’ going forward.

No, look at the link. It’s the ratings. CNN’s ratings have been tanking even more as of late. I was just saying they can’t be making money hand over fist if their ratings aren’t reflecting that

You could probably find the raw numbers from Nielson’s if it is that important.

While Fox News and MSNBC continue to dominate cable news ratings, CNN last week dropped to 13th in the overall cable ratings competition, according to TVNewser. The ratings were average primetime ratings captured between June 26 and July 2.

Fox News dominated with an average of more than 1.8 million viewers, while MSNBC trailed with 1.34 million viewers. CNN, on the other hand, only averaged a mere 711,000 viewers.

Networks like HGTV, TLC, ESPN, USA, FX, the History channel, the Discovery channel and others topped CNN.

It did not sound on the video that he was lying. He was talking to the project veritas guy who was secretly filming him. Why would he lie?

I suppose he could be lying, but CNN is on every TV in all the airports all day long. How did they get that contract? The fact is, about half of the country voted for Hillary. They watch, and believe what they see. Even if the ratings are down, they will adjust them to come back up.

CNN is an extension of the democratic party. And unfortunately, I don’t see the Democratic part going anywhere, which means CNN isn’t going anywhere. Its not like saying a show’s ratings are down, so the network will cancel the show. CNN IS the network. They are not going to cancel themselves. The bottom of society watches CNN, and unfortunately, that’s a huge population segment.

I think one of the main points of taking the red pill means we see the world as it really is – not as we want it to be. Sure we can hope CNN will go away, and we can hope the country will turn around, but the reality is that’s not happening. The country is getting worse…fast!

Instead of looking at a network’s ratings, I look at certain law of the universe. One of those laws is that societies have all come to a bitter end when inflation and multiculturalism take over, and it has never been reversed. CNN makes money off multiculturalism and stupidity, and the ethnic situation here, and stupidity, is getting worse. Even if CNN were to go out of business over night, that would not stop the direction of television media, and the constant attack on Trump, men, and patriarchism. I think at this point, only Trump can stop that, and that is, I think, the reality of where we are.

Do I hope things will get better? Sure. Are they going to? Not if I accept reality for all it’s bitterness, and I still think that is better than hoping for something that is never coming.

Don’t shoot the messenger. I am a believer of truth, regardless of its harshness, and truth seekers are always ostracized. Are we not truth seekers here?

Reddit has it coming. All their mods should be doxxed to say the least. They deserve far worse than that. Unlike half the s~~~ those pedophiles do, doxxing isn’t illegal. I don’t know if /r/thedonald has new admins but last I heard from /r/theredpill /r/thedonald was threatened by the heads of reddit. They have irc chats where they tell all big sub-board mods play the game or they’ll install child porn on your computer. It’s outright illuminati blackmail s~~~ and so unsurprised 4f~~s are defending them.
