I never got my girlfriends anything for valentine’s day, made it pretty clear from the start she doesn’t have to expect expensive stuff from me, or even a flower. It’s commercial bulls~~~ and I don’t follow it. They all seemed to agree and were happy to just spend the day together and cook a good meal, that was all.

It always amazed me to see how many guys would spend lots of Guldens (the Dutch currency before we moved on to the Euro) on their girls, and most of those girls didn’t even appear to be happy with it. One even started yelling that her present wasn’t big enough. Dear gods…

Right now, I’m not spending any money on myself on MGTOW Day, because I don’t care. If I want something special, I’ll buy it on that same day.

Although it was last sunday, I have 2 tell of the fun day I had.
