Here’s a story(lesson) that I remembered while preparing my taxes this year…

Several years ago, I was dating a woman that had a part time job at H&R Block preparing tax returns.

She (repeatedly) offered to do my taxes (free of charge of course!)

I declined, stating that “I’ve already completed my tax returns, but thanks for the offer”.

Later that day, I walked in on a conversation between her and a (girl)friend of hers…

“I tried to do his taxes to find out how much money he makes, but he said he already did…he’s lying…he doesn’t trust me”.

I asked “How much should I make?  How much is enough for you?”

Then I was the bad guy because I was “eavesdropping”, and “didn’t trust her”.

I said “you have a point”, and left.

Never saw her again…(thank god)

What a c~~~.  Funny how that works ya know?  You bust HER up to no good and YOU are the asshole.  Woman “logic” defies true logic.  It’s like the Johnny Cochran Chewbaca defense from South Park.

HISTORY...learn from it, memorize it, DON'T repeat it...
