President Donald Trump said on Friday he was considering sending illegal immigrants in the country to so-called sanctuary cities, prompting U.S. mayors to accept such an offer as the battle over border security raged.

Frustrated by rising numbers of undocumented immigrants arriving at the southern border and a failure to get Congress to fully fund a U.S.-Mexico border wall, Trump taunted Democrats by dangling the possibility of an influx of illegal immigrants into their communities.

“Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only,” Trump wrote on Twitter

Instead, they’re acting like a person who invites a hundred guests for dinner and then expects their neighbor host it. brothers, stop using “immigrants” as a by word,as what you are talking about is “illegal aliens” who committed a felony by entering the USA with no visa or passport control. You see, “they” have us thinking of “them” as “immigrants”. My family immigrated from Scotland and England in 1800 LEGALLY to work, worship, build a life, and make the USA better and so we go “America” as we know it now, or as it was in the 60s. They come here, and go straight to the public assistance office for welfare, support, housing, Sec 8 housing, food stamps, free medical care… and oh yes, not to VOTE as only we can do as Ameican Citizens. I say, boat them all to Catalina island, and let California transport from there.

Yeah…its f~~~ing beautiful. They have been preaching for years how great illegals are for the country and the economy. If that was the case they’d be begging to take them all, not fighting against taking them lol.

One thing democrats seem to be too retarded to understand is back when this country had massive amounts of immigrants pouring in from Europe and much looser immigration policies, we didn’t have any welfare programs. What are democrats campaigning on now? Things like “free” college for all, “free” healthcare for all, “free” daycare for all, a UBI. Oh yeah and let’s just make 30m illegals citizens while we are at it and provide all this s~~~ for them as well. Its just dumb. This is a very important distinction. Immigrants and illegal aliens are very different. One is legal the other is undocumented meaning it is likely untaxed and only being a burden on the taxpayers. Using public transport is even a a taxpayer burden as it is generally subsidized by taxes.

Immigrants come legally and typically accept the customs, language, and culture of where they move to.

Also to consider the argument that “not all illegal aliens are criminals”. As soon as they crossed the border illegally they became a criminal. And argument I have used time and again, “if their first action was to break the law to enter, why do you think they are going to follow all the rules now?”

I think they’re using the word ‘immigrants’ instead of the word ‘illegal aliens’ because many/most of them have applied for refugee status, and thus are not technically illegal yet.

It’s not even really a brilliant strategy though. It’s as simple calling a bluff. Trump has nothing to lose. You have all these liberals on record stating how wonderful the refugee/illegal immigrants are, and now you have them on record saying that they don’t want them in their cities. This doesn’t solve anything, it just expose the hypocrisy. It also keeps the conversation going and ensures that it remains an issue for the 2020 election. Trump needs the conversation to be the economy, the border, and possibly health care (if Republicans get they’re act together on it),

I would be surprised if this actually happened though. It might, but only if some sanctuary politicians are stupid enough to keep it in the conversation and/or actually invite the undocumented into their cities…p~~~ing off their voters.
