I am not from Russia, and have no ties to Russia. The world will do whatever it damn well wants to. I don’t care what people think of Russia, just as I don’t give a damn about Brexit, because I am not from the U.K. Who cares? I don’t give a damn if Putin plays hockey, a sport I find boring, just as I don’t care of Trump downs two Big Macs a day, or Obama played basketball, or Jr. Bush went on vacation on his ranch and cleared shrubs.

In regards to the announcement, I guess people get shocked that nations run wargame scenarios involving everything and anything. Of course, Russia is planning for an invasion of the U.K. The Unites States is planning other things also, including invading Mexico, and more. Nations do this. Nations also meddle in the politics of other nations. Note that the Kremlin is complaining now that the U.S is meddling in Russia politics:
