This guy makes $126,000 a year and his wife hardly makes any money. They spend $17,400 a year for SOCCER PRACTICE for their kids. Are you kidding me?! Check out their annual budget:

Of note: The 33% in taxes. Top of the list as to why I left California.

“Top of the list as to why I left California.”

Amended>>>Top of the list as to why I lefty California

Main reason why I’m abandoning Tax Vermonsters, I’m all done feeding and educating leftist bastard single mother children, just so they can grow their hive and devour my investment.

Just cutting the bridals of government sponsored tyranny, like any “real man” would “naturally do”.

Women are much better at spending money than making it. Of course, it’s easy to when you don’t have to work for it. Just another reason to avoid marriage and women for that matter.

My brain hurts just trying to add all that up. That’s a ridiculous amount of money to spend yearly. And he has four kids to boot? And they’re playing athletic sports where the kids can eventually get injured? Nope, nope, nope. F~~~ that s~~~!

I’m glad I’m a MGHOW! I can get by on $1,500 a month if I wanted to! Less if I owned a home or a condo!

How blue pill men still keep going into these kinds of hells is beyond me.

Sometimes I think about moving to Nevada. California has strict smog test requirements for cars (and not for diesel trucks, ironically). If your car’s engine light is on right before the smog test is due, it will automatically fail the smog test. So you have to repair the engine or else you won’t get your registration. If you’re in a situation where you have to save up $1000 to get your car fixed, you’ll end up catching the bus. I’ve been in this situation years ago and it sucks! This state is designed to FORCE people to spend money. It’s a “Robin Hood” state, and some of the poor are not deserving of handouts because they have no ambition to upgrade their lives by getting a job.

Most the time I read budget articles like this I just think wtf…like utilities for example. 8650 a year…that is 720 bucks a month. How the hell is that possible? 200 bucks a month for electricity(not really sure what it cost in CA I just tripled mine figuring a house and more people would cost more), 100 bucks a month and you can easily find a tv/internet combo deal, and 420 bucks a month on phones? WTF?

Don’t get me wrong…I don’t doubt they could spend this much in this category…but if they are I think we’d all agree they could shave a couple hundred bucks a month off here by cutting back to a more basic cable package or trimming their cell phone plan down some…but I suppose they are the same people that would complain “But we NEEED that.”

I also think his tax numbers are quite full of s~~~…45,000/126,000 is an effective rate of 35.7%. Now keep in mind…he is filing married…everything up to 74,900 for him is taxed at 15%, and the balance at 25%. CA tax rates he’s paying from 1-9.3% with the highest bracket starting at 101,738. Highest possible taxed dollar counting SS/Medicare would be at a rate of 43.4%…and it would only be that high for income over 101,738, that rest would be at lower rates…

Anyways…what to take into account…his 4 kids are a tax savings, 10,900 on 401k and HSA is tax free, and between interest and taxes rolled into his mortgage he probably can write off 20,000 of that 24,000 a year…so that 43.4% figure I doubt he actually pays that rate on a single dollar he earns. Basically between deductions and credits I doubt the guy is even paying payroll taxes on 80,000 a year, and probably at an effective tax rate of around 25%…that 45,000 figure is bulls~~~.

17k dollars for soccer practice? really i thought public schools provided that for free or you can just some kids in the neighborhood to play against.

Good point. That seems like the tax rate of a single person. Dude has 4 kids and a wife, so he ought to figure out a way to make his deductions pay for those damn soccer games! Or get his company to sponsor youth soccer games.
