Go ahead, call me paranoid, IDFC. So, last night I was out with a few friends and we were at a wrestling event. I swear I must’ve brushed up(not purposefully of course, but since when has that mattered?) against a few women who were around me, accidentally touching them briefly when I had to stretch or was mimicking a specific wrestler’s taunt. If that weren’t enough, we were at a nearby Mickey D’s and I was fidgeting a bit waiting to leave(we were waiting on an order) and I hadn’t realized a woman sat down in front of where I was standing so I accidentally brushed my hand against her as well. I immediately thought “Oh f~~~, am I about to get poundmetoo’d as well?” Now, remember, nowadays any kind of physical contact can easily be twisted by them into attempted sexual assault, and it’s your word against hers, and good luck getting anyone to believe yours. Luckily that didn’t happen and she doesn’t know who I am or where I live so I should be safe but I still have a nagging fear. F~~~, man. Like I said, go ahead and call me paranoid but in this day and age can you really blame me?

Then of course there’s those times when I got a li’l somethin’ somethin’ back in my younger days, I can’t help but wonder if any of those are gonna come back to haunt me? Y’know, since now a woman can retroactively decide she’d been raped and that’s all there is to it, any man who’s had any sexual experience is on the hook, so as I said before, can you really blame me for being paranoid?

Don’t let it get into your head too much, luckily as long as you don’t stay in the a closed room with one, and got enough witnesses to validate your story, you should be ok.

I get what you are saying. The other week I was in a store and as I backed up so did the female store attendant and we bumped into each other. She was really apologetic even though it was just one of those things. But for that second or so I was freaking out a little, it was just me and her in the store, she could have said anything even if we never touched at all.

A month ago I was visiting a large warehouse and used their toilet. I walked into the gents and some angry black woman was mopping the floor, so I went into the cubicle with the open door as I assumed the ones with the closed doors were taken – which meant walking over the patch of floor she’d just mopped. I thought it was a bit rude, but forgot it once I’d left. But suddenly, half hour later, this horrible fear washed over me, and I thought “what if she makes some accusation that I assaulted her or something”, and at that moment I realised how frightening this culture is becoming because I wouldn’t have been believed one bit, especially as she was black. Black women are in vogue at the moment.

These Uber drivers thought the same thing too until it happened to them. I hope you have a dash cam and body cam recording at all times.
