Hi. I love the site guys. I have a few thoughts on women, and dating. Where to begin?
1. In my opinion, women today are a lot more shallow than men are. Men are always being accused of being “pigs” and we have a reputation for cheating. Let me tell you something, I work in a position that allows me inside knowledge of what goes on in people’s personal lives, and I have witnessed A LOT more women who cheat on their spouses/significant others than vice versa.
2. Men are attracted to women who are physically fit. OK, you got me there. But why is this viewed as something to be ashamed of? First of all, it’s hormonal, so we literally can’t help it. Secondly, from a “logical” standpoint, why is this even bad? I see being attracted to someone who takes care of themselves physically as a GOOD thing. Now I admit, if you yourself are out of shape, you have no right to ask a woman to be in shape who you want to be with. But if I am in good shape physically, why don’t I have the right to ask the same of a woman? I want someone who cares about their health, like I do! Is that a bad thing?
Now take a look at what women want in a man: Money. To me this is FAR WORSE and WAY more shallow! Money is an inanimate object, and is something a person POSSESES yet is not actually a part of that person. And here’s the kicker: Men don’t deny what we are attracted to, and yet women ALWAYS deny that they are after a guy for his money. They lie, and say things like “He makes me laugh” or “It’s not the money, but his “ambition” that I was attracted to”. B.S.!!! I know lots of “ambitious” guys who are broke, yet I don’t see model-type women hanging on their arms!
You have to ask yourself: Why do women DENY what they want, yet men are HONEST about what we want? Because women know they’re wrong, and that their desires and wants in a man are ABHORENT. Men know in their hearts that our desires are NOT abhorrent, or coming from a place of selfishness, or something that we can control. We only require in a woman what we ourselves put out! Women on the other hand, want a rich guy to take care of them while they sit at home and eat chocolates all day. And what’s the excuse for women wanting a rich guy? Nothing “hormonal” about it. It’s pure selfishness and greed on their behalf. It is a CHOICE that they make. That’s the difference.
3. Men want a good person for a significant other. Women want the opposite. Why? It makes it hard to respect women as a gender when you see this. If a woman is not chasing a rich guy husband, or if she’s married to one already, she is out on the town looking for a dirtbag to shag. So basically a woman wants to marry an ugly bald fat rich guy, and then on the side she wants to bang a piece of garbage guy with tattoos at her local bar. Gee whiz…doesn’t that sound great? Where do the “normal” good men figure in all of this? Oh that’s right…we don’t.
Anyway, I try hard not to be some psycho woman-hating man. I really do guys. But I have to point out things the way I see it. I don’t like saying these things, believe me. I wish I could defend women and say “that’s not true!” every time someone says something negative about them. But it’s hard. I’m an above average looking guy with a good heart who wanted a normal relationship with a woman. I get “dates” very easily on tinder but it just seems like I can’t find a normal person to connect with.
You start questioning yourself after a while, but after seeing this site I finally realize “I am not alone” and it feels good to know that I am the normal, good person I thought I was all along. This culture and society is the problem. Funny thing is one night stand opportunities are readily available to me, yet that’s not what I want. What I do want, is a normal relationship with a normal, good woman. But I don’t even know what a “normal” woman is anymore. Dating for me is like an episode of the Twilight Zone. You keep trying to find the answer, but it never comes! Like a never-ending nightmare!
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I know it was long. Maybe some of what I said is off-base. I don’t know. I do know that I am frustrated. Growing up, I never thought relationships/women would be like this. You picture in your head meeting a woman who likes you, you like her back, and it’s easy as pie. Such a natural thing. Boy…was I wrong. Thanks guys.
