In her opening statement, Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Wagner introduced rambling, profanity-laced text messages sent from Heng to Sheahan, a bid to illustrate her volatility.

She would repeatedly text her boyfriend when he wouldn’t respond, and threatened to stab Sheahan in jealous fits, Wagner said. In two instances, the prosecutor said, she texted him, “That’s one stab,” and “two stabs in the bank” as a form of threatened punishment.

“Just pray you don’t see me,” one text read, just days before the killing. “I’m going to shank your ass so hard and so deep, I might possibly break it.”

I have said / referred to this in a previous post I made some time ago (referring to a woman hitting me). The first time a woman tosses a fist my direction (with intent to harm) I won’t think twice about treating her as if a man were doing it.

Physical abuse is NEVER OK. A man should not feel ashamed to defend himself. I realize that society and the law (probably – I am not a lawyer) see it differently though.

I have seen the videos of men soaking up a woman’s strikes like a sponge soaks water and it makes me sick! Would someone PLEASE tell me WHY it is OK for a man to be a woman’s punching bag?

I am not a violent person. Nor do I ‘get-off’ on seeing a woman (or anyone for that matter) being hit or beaten. I am, however, more than willing to throw a punch at a woman if she starts assaulting me.
