    Hey guys!

I’ve been gone since late May and returned home in late October. Since then I refrained from being on my computer so much and enjoying as much time alone as I could ALONE. So tonight, I logged back on to MGTOW to tell my newest story regarding the successful outcomes of my enlistment, basic training, and OSUT.

On May 24th, I shipped to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to immerse myself in military culture. It was something I looked forward to immensely, and I was fortunate that my motivation sustained me all the way through, regardless of my age and physical condition at the time. I enlisted as MOS 13F (Forward Observer) and was surprised by what I had encountered along the way. I had fantastic drill sergeants…they were funny, respectful, but also hard at the same time. In other words, they were like dads.

I was rather disturbed about some of the liberalism that had already pervaded the military (whether it was basic or OSUT). We had SEVERAL (if not, over a dozen) briefings on sexual harassment or “SHARP” (Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Program), riddled with scenarios that ultimately conveyed the intended message that “all aggressors are men, and they are all evil perverts”…this was on day three when I was still in reception. They said that “hyper-masculinity” was the main characteristic of ALL attackers identified under the SHARP program.

There was much luck for me in this regard, however, due to the fact that the few females that were in my platoon (or battery for that matter) were willing to SHARP anyone! I was glad for that. THEN, there was the ONE guy (in my bay of 62 soldiers of all races and backgrounds) who repeatedly stated that “all white people are evil”, and got away with it with impunity! Whatever…I didn’t approve of it, but I was at the mercy of the new Army, which seemed to be far more LIBERAL than the Army of my predecessors. Interestingly enough, the vast majority of my battle buddies were of the same mindset, which was good. By the way, the TV in the OSUT mess hall ONLY had MSNBC or CNN on it…p~~~ed me off, but I digress.

Fast-forwarding, we graduated on August 2nd from BCT, before crossing the tracks to the AIT side of post. I was dismayed to find out upon arrival that our advanced individual training was extended from six weeks to eleven weeks, and that our AIT was made an OSUT…which is essentially an extension of basic training. It sucked, but I learned an awful lot. With all of the young guys who got recycled for injuries or failures, it felt pretty intimidating being a 34-year-old man, as I wondered if those things were going to happen to me. Thankfully, it didn’t.

I graduated from OSUT on October 5th as a full-fledged FiSTer. I’m not going into specifics unless someone on the thread wants to talk artillery with me because I learned A LOT, and to list it all would require volumes of writing that I don’t want to do, haha. Things like the six elements of call for fire and the one-five subsequent corrections, degraded call for fire and tech call for fire with the PFED, LLDR and SINCGARS, close air support and naval gunfire…it was a long journey.

Anyways, I just wanted to come back, say “hi”, let everyone know I was still here and that everything went well. I just had battle handoff last weekend and got my unit patch…awesome. But I didn’t forget about you guys, HOOAH! I’m proud to be a soldier and just as proud to be a man going my own way. I look forward to reconnecting with all of you. Take care!

As a former Infantry Marine …. a few words although they may not be practical as you are an officer. I was a stupid 18 year old kid when I signed up and took the oath. That oath was a joke and was broken, how could I honor it? I was just a damn kid… The UCMJ is a ridiculous and outdated system. There is much that is entirely shortsighted and unjust about the Armed Forces before you even consider the psycho PC bulls~~~ that has been piling up for years… there were many HUGE problems socially speaking going back 50 years.

Anyway, you seem to be a late bloomer in there so that is good and bad. You will have a defined advantage in being more mature that the f~~~heads around you.

Keep your nose clean. You are being scrutinized, even when you don’t think so. Even on liberty. You are being tracked. The ‘agencies’ will do extensive background checks on you during periods where you may be reaching for a new rank. They will send people out to the middle of nowhere to talk to people like you 2nd grade teacher…. SO it wouldn’t be a bad idea to abandon your profile and just lurk. Im serious, I know people who never made full bird or even General, for no other reason than someone somewhere found something….

I dont know what your intention is in there. You want to kill bodies? What the f~~~ are you doing? You want to blow s~~~ up and explore dangers hot zones… Forward Observer? You better watch your s~~~, those guys like to die alot.

If you’re planning on doing 20… dont drink or drug, stay away from the sluts. Obviously, spare no opportunity to get ahead, study and sign up for everything available. Relentlessly pursue more training and upgrades to your file so that you keep advancing. When you have no use or when your peers (like the 25 year olds who have more energy and a bigger hard-on are trying to out compete you for O3 rank) when they have a better file, you become obsolete. Military advancement is cut-throat.

They will expect you to get married, if anything, its to prove youre not a homosexual. You think Im kidding but Im not. You will not make it 20 years without getting hitched. They are crazy in there. Very traditional minded (even though they feign otherwise sometimes). Also, as you know, its the effing military so there are almost never second chances.

GOOD LUCK BRO. Kill some f~~~ing sand n~~~~~s for me.

11-B here, good for you! FiSTERS save lives.

Consider Ranger School for your career. It’s not as hard as people think, and you learn a lot.

Thanks, Azrael! I have a handful of battles who are in RASP now. If I were active I would totally go for it. In the Guard, they only send you if you’re a combat arms officer because our funding is so limited. I’m submitting my officer package in another year. After OCS, they usually branch officers with whatever field they were already in when they were enlisted, unlike active where you go where they need you. In which case it would be back to Ft. Sill for BOLC, followed by Ranger School. As far as schools are concerned, the only one my unit sends anyone to is Air Assault down at Campbell.

Thanks, LongPig BBQ! I’m not an officer yet…that’s still something I have to wait another year to do. I joined with the intention of getting deployed. I’m National Guard and my unit was due to deploy to AFG in 2020, but it looks like that was either scrapped or it is going to be changed. But I get to go to Germany in a couple months for FiSTER cert and some JFO training.

You’re right! They do like their people to be married, especially officers. Officers are highly social and are expected to attend a variety of galas, b~~~~, celebrations at the homes of other officers, etc. In some cases they’re expected to hold at least one gathering at their home I THINK every month or so. I think the Guard is a different world altogether.

The PC bulls~~~ really does drive me nuts, though. You can tell that even the people pitching the stuff in briefings do not really agree with it, but they’re forced to do it. ROEs, especially the “laws of proportionality” are ridiculous. If someone shoots at you from an abandoned building, you can only respond in kind with the same level of force being applied by the enemy. So, as a FiSTer, I cannot just call in a GBU on the building because it would be a violation of that law. Rules as they pertain to reaching the LOA are still the same…double tapping is only allowed while moving forward, but once reaching the LOA its time for aid and litter.

I’d like to do my 20. Who knows, if I can score an AGR job I might even go the NCO route and forgo commissioning altogether. Being older has served to benefit me quite a bit. And you’re right about the immaturity of some of those 17-18 year old kids. Most of them were fantastic…very respectful and quiet. But some of them were complete idiots, especially the JROTC kids.

well Moose, sounds like you’re gonna have a good time. I have fond memories of serving and always regretted having enlisted so young at 18. I should have waited until I’d conquered my alcoholism… I’d make a hell of a Gunnery Sgt. today, but that ship already sailed. In any event, Im content with my life.

If you want to make it far, keep your ass out of trouble bro. And follow your general orders.

ROE’s ? LOL that’s for the tabloids and associated press… when they aren’t looking, smoke the f~~~ers. Hostile Action, Positive ID..whatever, I saw him raise his rifle and we even found some brass near his dead body… oh well, another dead raghead. Kill their whole family in my opinion. Kill bodies, Eat Babies.

To take charge of this post and all government property in view.

To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert, and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing. (kill anything that isnt wearing a US uniform)

To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce. (unless he’s your best friend)

To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guard house than my own. (very important, but always change the orders a little just to f~~~ with the next guy LOL, just kidding)

To quit my post only when properly relieved. (dont fall asleep you f~~~er, seriously)

To receive, obey, and pass on to the sentry who relieves me all orders from the Commanding Officer, Command Duty Officer, Officer of the Deck, and Officers and Petty Officers of the Watch only.

To talk to no one except in the line of duty. (quit cigarettes and start dipping Copenhagen like a real man)

To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.

To call the Officer of the Deck in any case not covered by instructions.

To salute all officers and colors and standards not cased. Only in Garrison, dont salute while in theatre.

To be especially watchful at night and during the time for challenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post, and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

Congrats BRO! Take that advice and sign up for all that cool s~~~. But trust me on this, see if you can get into the special ops sections. Not only does it give you a guaranteed job when you transition out, you get real world skills and get to deal with some really cool hardware and tech.

But take the advice and WATCH YOUR ASS. Everyone is a buddy f~~~er once you go Officer. Some of the best long lasting friends that will last a lifetime will be met while in the military. When I was down on my luck, going through hell, they were there for me in California and elsewhere around the world. Funny how something as simple as making sure you got a guy to work from a long night of drinking, to somehow holding a mans penis in your hand and both of you getting a shock from peeing on a live circuit.

BEST TIMES of MY LIFE. (not the holding the penis part) Enjoy your time while in. It sure is not the same military, but f~~~ that noise of getting married. If you do? Marry a Woman in her 90’s that’s about to croak, or a woman you KNOW is going to die of cancer. That way, you both win. She gets great medical coverage, and the chances that she is going to divorce rape you are slim to none. And when she passes away, you get to collect the Life insurance and give her a nice send off while having plenty for your retirement as well.

Heck, they want you to get married, do it on those terms. ๐Ÿ™‚ $300,000 goes a long way to Burial costs, you help her out, and you help yourself out. All good Karma!

You never know, you may end up working at the white house.

Now about that dude that goes out saying that all white people are evil. We had a FEW of those. And they did not last long. But that Race Card sure works no kidding.

Also, NOW would be a GREAT TIME to get that Vasectomy, dental work, and anything else that you want to get done. And watch out for that Army chow. You heard what it did to Popp.

In the Navy we have a saying Never Again Volunteer Yourself. Remember that. It will do wonders.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

Thanks for your service and thanks for posting here but if you are really concerned about your reputation then you should seriously consider not posting. I have heard many men being punished for posting on sites like this. I would never have allowed my work to know I post here like I do. Frankly, it’s no ones business but you have to be smart.
