Really? I’m around the same age as you and ignoring them has worked for me just fine. That said, I am a loner so I’m used to avoiding people’s attention and am probably better than most people at it. One thing I’ll do if some girl seems interested in me or if someone looks like they want to talk to me but I don’t want to is act really absorbed into whatever I always have a book or my laptop with me, so this a very effective strategy.
