I always find it hilarious that women generally list “honesty” as a characteristic they desperately want more of in men — while at the same time changing virtually EVERYTHING about their own appearance in order to attract men.  For whatever reason, honesty really isn’t important in women when it comes to attracting a man.

I also think that it is a social assumption that it is OK for women to lie, whereas men are held accountable for being super-honest.  Women generally are not expected to be honest — they are expected to tell you what you want to hear.

@gonegalt There have been alot of admirable women throughout history. I love the fact that there is (was) but I have to step in here. Every one of those women in the buzzfeed article are admirable, but not for what the article is claiming. Everything on that article is completely false (or completely misleading). Except for the dishwasher. If you can consider this a dishwasher:

edit1: Ok scratch that. There have been patents for working dishwashers long before Josephine Cochrane. http://www.todayinsci.com/Events/Patent/DishwashingMachine7365.htm

@tempered: you’re absolutely right. I knew that. I was having a bit o’ fun, and thank you for recognizing the BS!

p.s. That’s why I preceeded it with my tongue-in-cheek praise of a communications major from FSU (a notorious party school) who has become a billionaire by making a product that makes women (and now men, apparently) less fat than what they are. 🙂

To the creator of spanks underwear: Good job girl! You have gotten rich by successfully creating a line of stretchy underwear best used for helping fat women hide cellulite… You’ve made a contribution to the advancement of the human species and you’re rightly profiting from it. Before you and your brilliant creation came along, fat women had to go on diets and exercise to appear slimmer.

I have heard your story before, and have never resented it. When previously hearing your story, I listened for the name of the material you used to make your stretchy underwear have those elastic properties. I never did hear that get specified, but maybe I just wasn’t thorough enough in my research. But shooting a little from the hip here, I’m going to guess nylon or latex or neoprene being the most common materials used in wearable things that need to be made stretchy. Very astute of you to put them to use hiding cellulite. God knowns with the amount of cellulite we got these days, we need the ability to do more of that.

Um, by the way… anyone wanna guess where that stretchy latex rubber came from?

    Here’s the one for nylon:

    Yeah…just like you thought.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

Equality is a myth, especially when it comes to gender. Equality is one word that I wish would vanish from the English language.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

No, it was about selfishness and destroying the modern family. So they got what they wanted, now we’re leaving.

If a government is the rule of laws then the Supreme Court Justices (SCOTUS) are the ultimate rule of our society.

Clearly Justice Ginsberg is the “go to” Justice on the Supreme court for Feminism so she become the defacto Ruler or Supreme Leader in the US for Feminism.

I have always thought of her as the Ayatollah Komeniee of Feminism.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_Leader_of_Iran

Much like the Ayatollah Komeniee who, under Iranian constitution, is “elected” by the legislature and rules for life, our Ginsberg is similary “elected” by our legislature after presidential appointment and rules for life. We don’t get to vote on it.

Since the appointments are rigged so are these legislative elections are rigged.

Both are appointed and rule for life.

The Supreme Leader of Iran rules a population 77.4 million, and the Supreme Leader of our Feminists (3 of 9 justices vote with Ginsburg), 100 million.

They literally have no one to answer to, Ginsberg is the Ayatollah for Feminism.

    All hail Ayatollah Ginsberg.

And you wonder why mens right gets no traction. It’s a wonder we don’t get thrown in jail for disagreeing with her…wait…no one would ever come after us guys, here, right? sure.

    MGTOW for the win.
