If you ever get the chance to visit any foreign country and experience their culture, where would you visit?
For me, I always wanted to visit and tour Japan. I love Japanese food, including sushi, and I want to try traditional Japanese foods since I don’t have an Oriental grocery store near me; I have to travel an hour to get to one near my mom. I want to get experience on Japanese traditions, video games, anime, and amusements.
The only reason why I don’t go to Japan like I want to is because I hear it’s real expensive over there and I’m not the kind of guy who swims in his vault of money.
If you can travel anywhere outside your own country, where would you go to?

{Edit: Why….
I have studied Japanese MA and have had Japanese teachers. Plus I wanna f~~~ a Geisha.
}Great choice RE and this is a very hard question.
It would be Eastern Europe but the exact country would be a coin flip.
Since I would be visiting as a tourist with no desire to transplant, there are 2-3 that come to mind.

I agree with MG-Towers choice.
Personally, I have interacted enough with other “cultures” to understand it’s all the same bulls~~~ with a different flavour.
I can call in for delivery of different foods when I am so inclined to do so.There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
Anonymous6For Business: I would go to Russia. I have always been fascinated by the language and the people. Seems like a great place to visit. Go to a vodka distillery, the Kremlin, the opera house, bunch of other s~~~. And maybe see if there are any business opportunities to look into.
For pleasure: I’m headed to Spain, more specifically, Croatia. The food, the beach, s~~~ load of activities, and the women! That’s on my bucket list for sure. And maybe check out their banking laws to see if an offshore account could be an option.
Honorary Mention: Transylvania. I gotta see the history behind Vlad the Impaler.
Anonymous54Cuba.
I was a white dude playing in a Cuban Band for a time.
I could do that forever.

Im going with MgTower to Mars. Build industrial complexes with other Men to start the greenhouse gasses, then Terraform the planet into a lush green and blue planet once again.
The biggest benefit? To be as far away from modern society as possible.

Make sure my company gets the contract to build that stuff and pay us handsomely.

Burn, baby burn. Anything that emits massive amounts of carbon dioxide will be greatly appreciated.
I spent a wonderful 3 weeks in Japan last year. Amazing country with the kindest most courteous people you will ever meet. The utter chaos of the big cities combined with incredible beauty and politeness at the same time. There really is no place on Earth like Japan. Not cheap but well worth it and not too expensive if you know what you are doing.
Plus travelling around in trains that cruise at 180mph while being totally silent and on time to the second will blow your mind. Some of the things they eat will amaze you and disgust you as well. I can’t wait to return." I feel threatened "
Cuba, I lived there for 7 years is like going to the pass, 1940-1960, an eye opener experience.
But no fancy s~~~, you gotta eat home made “arroz congry “. Drink guarapo, ride on a bici taxy, get on the M5 cammel buss with all the sweaty grasy people, eat the icy hard ice cream of Copelia.
Let a teen dance a regueton on your lap (hate that music). Drink whine made by a house owner.
Ride in 1950 American car.
See a few fights, people screaming at each other instead of speaking.
Go to a bodega and watch people collect their monthly ration.
Go to the market and buy organic, non toxic real food for once in your life.
Enjoy the hell like, humid heat of summer.
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

I lived in Japan for a while and it is one of the most amazing places on the planet and is well worth a visit for the reasons you mention, especially the food. I spent a lot of time in the gardens of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo which are phenomenal. It’s not a cheap place but not much worse than, say, Paris or London.
Mars would be good, if MGTower can sort out the transport, but Antartica would be my preferred earthbound destination for the geography but for culture I would like to visit China for the usual tourist reasons and, of course, the food.

This might seem a weird one, but I’d like to see Vietnam. I was always interested in learning about the war.I have been reading a lot about it and the country and people just fascinates me. The few travelogs I’ve read have said their reaction to Americans is surprisingly positive and friendly. I prefer uncommon destinations, so this fits.

Good luck, you will spend a lot of time trying to find Croatia in Spain.

My bad, i’m headed to Europe then!
Anonymous1I’ve always wanted to visit Japan. I grew up in the 90’s and was thoroughly inundated with Japanese Cartoons and Video Games. Later I learned some Judo and Japanese language and I love Japanese food. Sounds like a great place to visit, I hear they have very low crime rate because the people are respectable and decent folks. Not like the Thugged out “Gimme Yo’ S~~~” culture we have here in USA.
