I used to watch my grandmother do this all the time, she would complain about a lack of help and then when someone would try and help she would tell them not to worry about it. One day I went over to her place to mow the lawn and when I got there she was just finishing it. A wasted trip for me with the addition of her playing her stupid guilt trip games.
