..what sightseeing and states would you guys recommend?
I hope you could post some photos of the places you would definitely recommend.
    Texas is on my list..

PS. of course, I would definitely try to meet up with some mgtows who would be up for it, but will see how my life goes, need to survive my education and save up some money for tickets etc.

All I have to offer is the seasonal foliage of the most species diverse forests on the planet. It’s really mind blowing to see a steep mountain of trees facing the sun that’s setting behind you, the spectrum of warm colors glow with brilliance and diversity! A white T-shirt will glow with orange, yellow, and red from the reflected light, same with winter on the mountain peeks and passes when the sun sets brilliant red and turns all the snow from bluish white to hell fire red, everything white turns red, cool as f~~~ to be standing in!

If you’re going to Texas I would recommend San Antonio. Visit the Alamo, take the Missions tour (there are lots of them along one of the highways near there) and visit San Jacinto near Houston.

What do you want to see? The US is pretty large, so there’s a little bit of everything. You looking for beach, mountains?

    Order the good wine

There is so much variety in the US, from Maine to the deserts of Arizona.

When visitors go to the States, most plan to visit New York and Los Angeles, with possibly the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas or Miami in-between. But few people realize how far apart these places actually are.

I would also include a stop visiting some small towns in upper midwest if you have the opportunity .. get to see what rural life is like in this country.
I would recommend just strolling around a town like La Crosse, Wisconsin along the beautiful Mississippi river. River sights and lots of great restaurants and things to see within walking distance.
Why did I choose this city of about 100,000 people as a good example over all the others?
For one thing, it’s a college town, with three relatively large Universities. It’s been designated as an All American City for it’s beauty and amenities and great place to live. Skiing in winter and boating is summer. There is also a very large lake for sailing. Surrounded by farms and rural landscape .. and lots of un-glaciated hills and valleys.
It’s bordered by the river on one side and 600 foot high hills and bluffs on the other. You can visit the look-out locations above the city and see for miles down along the river. The eating establishments and downtown entertainment of this river city are nice. Lots of live music.
… and most of all, you’ll find that the people are super friendly.
Rent a car and drive down Highway 35, The Great River Road, that takes you south along the east side of the river from La Crosse.
Cross a bridge over into Iowa and continue your travels down the west side of the river. Lots of other beautiful mid-sized rural river towns also in Minnesota and along the Mississippi down through Iowa. Just pick one, almost at random, and you’ll likely find it an interesting place with great folks living there. Plenty of scenic places and things to see along your travels as you journey south.

I do love nature and would choose sightseeing and wild nature over urban area. Seeing mountains would be great aswell.

Well then, definitely thinking about Colorado for weed, then Southern states (Texas) to sate the hunger with best/legendary BBQ of my life. Thank you.

That would be a great first visit already. Colorado/Texas.

PS. Creating this thread is an opportunity to ask you guys, to get USA Mgtows suggestions first hand. So thank you for sharing !

Well, if you go to Colorado you WILL get mountains. I would suggest heading a little south then and going through some of the National Parks in Utah. Beautiful desert areas there.

Utah has the best snow for skiing. Alta, Snowbird, and Park City. Park City is an old mining town and has a really cool museum.

Last week I drove through Pennsylvania from Canada.

This state has stunning landscapes with mature untouched forests. Foothill like hills and deep valleys. Simply breathtaking.

I found it VERY difficult to maintain my attention on the road from the Northern part all the way to Allenstown and west to State College.

F~~~ you Joetech, launching big air off the cliffs under the SnowBird tram making bomb holes in the bottomless powder! Your seafood (days by truck away) tastes like cat food! I had to spit it out living so close to the icy east cost, where the ski conditions go from packed ice to blue ice with rocks scattered between! Bet you never skied 2 inches of solid ice just before the closed the entire mountain down.

We have something you don’t have, and that’s CHALLENGE!

I remember one time I accumulated several pounds of ice in just one run! No S~~~!

The US has 59 National Parks and 117 National Monuments that showcase some the best features of the United States. As Tower mentioned, the changing colors of the trees during Fall is spectacular. Rocky Mountains (Western U.S.) or Appalachian Mountains (Eastern U.S.) are always a hit.

Add in the state parks (10,234 as of 2014) maintained through the U.S. and you have additional opportunities to see areas of historic interest, natural beauty or recreational activities.

Including some of these within your trip would give you a great perspective of any under acknowledged American resource.
