    That is the typical story. It starts out by losing some closet space. He eventually gets thrown into the garage or “man cave”. When she finds a new branch, he is given a suitcase to pack up his stuff. Most of his stuff has been sold over the years so it’s really an easy process for her. The end.

    Ahhh… Dean Wormer. We miss you.

    That’s perhaps the movie’s best scene, which is quite an accomplishment when you consider how many iconic scenes there are in it.

    There’s so many good bits crammed into just that minute or two. Among other things it’s got a drunken Flounder vomiting on the dean, Pinto being congratulated by the others for his 1.2 GPA, the superb “Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.” line, and Bluto with the pencils up his nose.

    Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
