I was very disappointed with the movie. I don’t recommend it at all, but hey, you’re free to waste your money on it.
The action scenes were great. The jokes were great.
However, the entire plot is basically this:
: Guy hooks up with a hooker in a bar
: Guy proposes to the hooker to get married
: Guy gets cancer
**Government agent explains that he can cure his cancer and grant him superpowers**
: Guy refuses originally, but then changes mind because of girl
:Girl gets captured by villain
:Guy goes out of his way to save girl
Deadpool gets Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead to help save girl***Ending Credits ends with Deadpool and girl kissing and becoming boyfriend and girlfriend again***
A few other notes:
In the beginning scenes Deadpool and his girlfriend actually talk about V-Day for a few minutes.
Deadpool’s girlfriend gets her ass slapped by this biker. She then turns around and grabs his genitals and squeezes them to where it actually hurts him for a minute a so. That scene p~~~ed me off so much. I wanted to walk out then and there.
Colossus couldn’t beat the crap out of the chick who punched him in the movie trailers. During the end scene of the movie, he was saved by Sonic (the dyke looking girl that was on the phone texting)
There were also so many f~~~ing blue pill moments in the movie. They turned Deadpool into a f~~~ing mangina.
Looks like I’ll have to skip this one. Might have to see Revenant, though.
In that case save your money and rent/torrent/netflix Dirty Harry 5: The Dead Pool.
I wished I saved my money. But, apart of me wanted to be wrong about how Deadpool was a mangina film that also catered to women. I had such high hopes for Deadpool so I said, why not and end up paying anyway.
Corny ass plot. A member posted a trailer for it, and I about puked. Not going to watch it. Despite the whole “edgy” angle they’re going for and it being a “rated r superhero movie” it still has those douche bag SJW overtones and conforms to the mainstream opinions, so something that sells itself has edgy while being safe and following the status quo is very disingenuous. Just a shame how many people can’t see right through the bulls~~~.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
I just stoped going to the movies.
I though about going to see the new star wars movie, but after i saw it online, hell no.
Movies are just feminist crap this days.
Anonymous1For me it worth the money, I ignored all the crappy romantic scenes, checking my mail and facebook every time those appeared and in general I enjoyed the movie a lot, the post credit scene when he says “why are you still here, the movie is over go home” supposedly cable will appear in the sequel, and Mel gibson might be the chosen one for the roll according to deadpool, who knows…
Figures…I had high hopes for this one. Well, I guess that’s 20 plus dollars I can spend elsewhere.
Trust your manstincts...they will NEVER steer you wrong
The action scenes were great. The jokes were great.
hmm…will probably watch it one day for that.

HUGE F~~~ING DISSAPOINTMENT.
have been reading the comics for years, been waiting for the movie for years, deadpool was damn close to being a mgtow, usually single(besides the series that ended recently where he was married to the queen of the underworld, and had a love child from the 70s) did what he wanted and usually just had flings.this movie was NOT the deadpool i expected, terrible that it was turned into a rom-com. if your a mgtow and like deadpool, you will not like this movie.and oh yeah the treatment was supposed to make him INSANE, he just kinda talked more, he was bonkers before he had cancer in this movie, he didn’t really change much
ill just SPOIL it for ya now
he does his own thing
meets hooker
she is now all he cares about
marries hooker
gets cancer
oh no hes not pretty anymore, does not think she will accept him
must get back to her
gasp! she is in peril
does all he can for “love”
wow happy ending smooch smooch"He who lives with honor dies with honor."
and another thing, Colossus i guess does “the right thing”, and she f~~~ing does the most dishonorable thing ever! but hey all is fair in love and war supposedly. just think if he did the same to her! now that would have been funny. i was rooting for him to kick her ass the whole time, people next to me didn’t like that, that’s for sure.

“why are you still here, the movie is over go home”
Bueller… Bueller… … … Bueller…
I did see it. I thought it ok, and wish it was more way out there. It was heavily tropish in the storyline, right down to the Blue Pill, go back on the plantation, romance angle. I was able to see past that though, and take things for what they are, and see the movie has good metaphor characters to explain how Blue Pill thinking works:
– Deadpool is a Blue Pill arsehole. Yes, you can have a foul mouth, and so on, but still end up being Blue Pill, longing to get back on the plantation. If you make yourself out, and long to be, the male lead in a romantic story, you are Blue Pill. When you feel that a woman is your missing piece, and you are incomplete without it, you are Blue Pill. There are large numbers of men who are this, who buy the lie that somehow there is the mystery woman who completes them. Apparently breaking the fourth wall with Deadpool was all the insanity you got from him. Am I the only one who thought Deadpool didn’t appear insane enough in the movie?
– Colossus is a prototypical White Knight. He has this delusion he will get Deadpool to stop being an arsehole, and join the X-Men. He will then try to be nice to women, and kind, even if they are fatal, and try to be a goody-goody.
– Ajax was just a character who was made evil just because evil. He had the whole, “I don’t feel anything\” but end up delighting in torment for its own sake? I mean, really? He reminded me of Mr. Freeze in the Batman movie, where he was supposed to be a terminator character, but feels? I call bull on that.
– The women characters? Am I supposed to comment? How about I just ignore them and get on with my life? I am a guy. How women supposedly “advance” in the movie, does what for me? In short, after the movie, I just forget about them. I could speak in terms of special effects and powers, but a “bad ass” woman? Like I care? So, I ignore that.
– Even when said to do a “gamechanger” Hollywood still follows formulas to a sickening degree. This movie was a heavy formula piece, with some fourth wall stuff, and a bit of cool effects. But, it was by the numbers, with some low budget stuff in there to tweak. It played it safe pretty much.I would say, rent the movie to see what Hollywood is pushing, to get some metaphors, unless you are a Deadpool fan. There was some good stuff in there, just SO wrapped up in Hollywood does. Please don’t make me have to do “trigger warnings” here, in that, if you hate to see romance storylines, because they cause you trauma, then don’t see it. It has that. I figured men will get past that, unless they are in the SJW/Tumblrsphere.

Figures…I had high hopes for this one. Well, I guess that’s 20 plus dollars I can spend elsewhere.
I would argue the fact everyone is going along with movies being like $20+ plus, which I guess means paying for overpriced concession stuff, is just how the world works, and I personally call that “Blue Pill” living. What movie out there, AT ALL, is worth spending like $20+ to see? I ended up dropping like $12 alone for it, missing the matinee window due to tickets being sold out, so I went to catch the next one. But man, that is BS I see. Even if it would be a hardcore pro-MGTOW movie, $20+ is crazy.

Anonymous3I’d been seeing good reviews about this online so I was actually going to give it a chance. I’m glad I read this thread.
I still haven’t even watched Star Wars TFA. The last movie I remember watching in theatres was The Dark Knight. I watched TDK Returns at home and thought it was really BP though. Even before that I barely was watching anything, and since then I don’t think I’ve seen anything in a theatre at all.
I sort of realized awhile ago that I just can’t tolerate this type of stuff anymore. I have nothing in common with the average person, and if you interact with average people you see that they absolutely love this stuff, and everyone thinks and talks the exact same way. It is actually really amazing to me in all honesty just how interchangeable the average person is.
What they find funny, the various voice intonations, the subjects they speak about, even across different professions or media or age groups and incomes, everyone sounds about the same. Reddit is a great example of this, if you don’t look at the usernames sometimes you could swear it’s really just one person writing it all.
I remember several years ago I used to write similar jokes and wrote a lot of things in a similar manner. But in the past few years I pretty much cut myself off entirely from mainstream media and now it’s so foreign to me.
I wonder if in a hundred or so years a future civilization will discover that American media had some form of mind control embedded in it, and it was all a great social experiment to see if wide scale manipulation was possible. People simply are too alike for me not to think something is up.
Just get off facebook and stop watching TV and media for a year or two and you’ll probably see what I mean. Especially if you also read a lot of older books and such, and notice how different they are to today’s stuff.
I saw the movie the day it was released. I already read the comics played the game etc. and Deadpool was the only comic character (he is not a hero) I could relate to.
The movie was just as I expected. Spoiled and catered towards women and their “sensitivities” of course. Is there any other way to release a product in this world without doing this, let alone release a movie where the MAJORITY of the population is female? And most of the male population is just a bunch of manginas who cannot get their heads out of their asses to go to the movie they enjoy but rather go see man bashing romantic comedies together with their wimenz. I see they already lined up for Zoolander 2.
Deadpool is hideous and bats~~~ crazy in the comics and chases sexy women to have sex with. If he saves a woman, it is because he wants to get a chance to have sex with her, not out of love. They could never make a movie like that. It would not have any box office success like this movie had.
Modern society successfully destroyed another piece of art that was full of interesting and original content and bastardized it to fit the boring, backwards and mediocre values of general public.
For a redpilled dude, this movie was typical of a character being a bitch for a bitch. But hey, I’m used to it so it didn’t bother me much. I am not going to make that my asshurt point.
But I have to admit what p~~~es me off more is movies that are complete s~~~, and s~~~ on the source material like The Wolverine did. Like… F~~~ I hate what they are doing with Cuckold Wars and stupid light great sword, and goddamn Bats Vs. Supes and superfriends, and Fantastic Race Swaping 4 (to be fair though FF has always been a s~~~ property). Its cringe worthy. I can even see how bad it is in the trailer. I ain’t paying s~~~ and I’m not even going to waste my TIME watching it.
You can tell that certain marvel movie producers are at least is trying to do some of the characters and stories justice with Captain America, Iron Man, Avengers, or at least trying to make them work like with Thor. Deadpool was an honest attempt at finally giving the character his dues in a movie. That’s really ALL I ask. Yeah he got pegged like a bitch and owned by a bitch, but it was clearly a Deadpool story.
Don’t ask me to pay f~~~ing 10 dollars and show me these over paid assholes are too f~~~ing stupid to find someone who knows the character and can actually improve them like I dare say Captain America and the Rocketeer (same awesome director). Most of the time all they do is get someone to pump out s~~~ by stealing characters for gimmicks, and not even knowing anything about them and also give me a bad movie.
I mean goddamn. I agree Star Trek needed the new reboot using time paradox because of constant fan sabotage, but what they did to Star Wars was complete s~~~ and unnecessary. Your basically paying for a retelling of A new hope. WTF is that?! And simpletons buy into it just for geek street cred. F~~~ that and f~~~ them.
Deadpool even apologized at the end for leaving to go try and get his cancer cured and she slapped him for it. Dude spent all of his energy and focus on the chick. Seeing this movie with red pill eyes made it quickly forgettable for me. Glad I caught a matinee
