Today I had lunch at my favorite restaurant, something I aim to do once a week. I have attended the place since it first opened and am known as a regular by the owner and senior staff. While enjoying my meal, the head waitress asked me if I was single and I replied yes. She asked if it was because I wanted freedom and I replied it was because I work too much. Not too long later she came back and said I was not single because I work too much but insisted it was because I wanted freedom. I just again stated I worked too much.

I just find it funny how a woman knows that women will take away your freedom once you get involved with them and that men will avoid women to keep their freedom (and money of course). Women know this but then still ask the greatest question of the modern era of strong empowered women, “where have all the good men gone?”

There is not enough info provided to tell what her intention actually was. It could be that she was hoping to discuss freedom as she is single and likes it as well. It could be she was hitting on you. Could be that she was looking to find a flaw and shame you a tad. Can’t tell.
