So we reached temporary relief and cupcake aka Selfish One (SO) gets child support and I no longer have to pay the mortgage, utilites, etc.

Dumbass agreed to the temporary relief and I knew she didn’t understand it b/c she has never had to be an adult and pay bills. I was that “utility”.

So month one she gets the check (which BTW is LESS than the mrtg slightly) and from that she must pay mortgage, electric, gas, etc.

She thought she was getting that check AND I was going to pay the mortgage!

SO sends an email to the lawyers (yes, SO copied my lawyer and me). “We need to renegotiate this. He can’t tell me what I’m going to spend child support on”.

My lawyer laughed her ass off.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Selfish One. The meal ticket is gone and it is time to be an adult. Her daddy spoiled her. I was treated like a meal ticket and now she is expected to stand on her own two feet. She makes good money, but that was never used for bills, for God’s sake!

The other day she called me and I she sounded tipsy. She beat around the bush for a bit and then blurted out, “I want YOU to pay the mortgage too”. I just chuckled….

What I’ve found is women are taught at a young age that men take care and pay for everything. With feminism, they now have jobs. Thus, they want their cake and eat it (and yours) too. When they realize this is not so, the wheels in their heads go into overdrive and have no idea what to do. No more Disney fairytale. That ship has sailed (or sunk).

Never understood why a woman would go through college, get a masters, then have kids and think she’d never have to work again. Just be a SAHM. They want the traditional support, with the 21st century benefits. Sorry, it doesn’t work like that..

I’m already awarded 50/50 and my daughter stays with me 3 nights a week minimum, but I think when the dust settles I’ll have her even more. I’m more engaged and actually COOK meals for her. I’m just concentrating on being super dad when she is around and my daughter is happy as a clam when she is with me.

CORRECT. We’ve only gone through “Temporary Relief” and it did not go how she envisioned it.

Striking an agreement is next on the agenda: I will lose half my hard earned assets b/c she doesn’t have the ability to manage money, much less save it.

Essentially she is a petulant child screaming, “I can’t pay all these bills” because she’s never had to. The taste of independence and paying bills like an adult isn’t very palatable to her.

The reality is women replace the husband with a Chad and expect the same standard of living and for everything to be the same. They cannot grasp that you now have to run two households with the same amount of money that it took to run one. They think they should keep the house, move chad in and you continue to pay for everything like you always did.

They don’t even give a second thought to how you are supposed to live, for all they care you can live at your parents or just sleep on the streets as long as she gets what she wants (with the hive telling her she is entitled to it)

Yeah lol…the funny thing is most of them end up with worthless degrees, a low paying “career,” and debt. They work a few years and realize work pretty much sucks and generations of men before them weren’t lounging at a country club 8+ hours a day while collecting a pay check.

Women in the 18-22 year old age range will tell you being a SAHM is slavery. Women in the 28-32 year old range would mostly love to find a husband who makes enough to allow them to not have to keep working full time. Sorry honeys…we wouldn’t want to turn you into slaves!

My I been rid of my ex for 4 years (my divorce anniversary is tomorrow. I celebrate it). Anyway, I am still getting bill collectors calling after her. Even after landing the huge lump sum alimony and my 401k she is flat ass broke. The wall smacked her hard too. Karma. Funny thing is her kids tell me where she moves to, so I am quick to make sure the bill collectors can find her.
