I realized that feminism has something half right….we do< in fact, live in a “rape culture”. The half part comes into play because, as far as feminists define “rape culture”, men are the victims of this system. In the western world, well most western countries, a woman can’t be charged with the rape of a man. At most it’s sexual assault which carries a much lighter sentence. If the woman gets pregnant from this she is entitled to child support from her victim. If a man says that he was raped by a woman he’s told to be thankful or to get over it. If the man is drunk and taken advantage of then he should have known his limit. If the man defends himself he runs the risk of being arrested for assaulting the woman (his attacker). When this problem is mentioned people say that men want it or that it’s not that big of a deal. So does that make feminists rape supporters, rape apologists, and victim blamers? On that same note, women have dogged men since time and memorial for being “horndogs”. Does that mean that women are guilty of slut shaming just on a much larger scale?

I was thinking about this the other day.  Men get raped in prison.  Society thinks it’s acceptable.  It’s not a crime.  It’s part of the punishment.  They joke about it and even wish it on their male enemies.  Their rationale?  It’s man on man so the victim is somehow not really a victim.  A man gets raped or sexually assaulted by women, not a crime.  Male strippers get abused by women, not a crime.  “Get over it”.  Men get raped by soldiers in Africa.  They have to keep it secret or their wives will leave them for being gay.  We are living in a rape culture but it’s male rape, not female.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

Agreed. Why is it that men are looked at as disposable commodities instead of people? This is why gender equality is a joke (with a bad punch line). Women have always been treated preferentially in society. If someone wants gender equality then women should be taken off of their pedistals. Men are expected to make every sacrifice that they can to make a woman happy. Women have always used men. I’m glad that there is finally a group willing to stand up and call them out on it. I’m proud to be a mgtow. I’ve always been one and never even new it. I just knew that I though differently than most regarding women.
