If you are worried about low scores in “school” do not worry. Grades have been rigged against boys. It is not your fault.
It use to be most of the annual grade for students were from tests, which boys were better at. Now, most of the annual grade is from “homework”, this benefits girls as they copy each others homework. While at the same time schools do their best to prevent boys from having friends.
If students copies each others answers during a test this would be called “cheating” and would not count, but as long as it is out of sight, with girls getting the benefit from doing so, this is called “teamwork”.

At my kids school, assignments and test are weighted around equally, depending on the specific class.

Perhaps the most memorable and product class I ever took was physics for engineers, freshman year in college. The class essentially had 4 elements. There were professor lectures which were pretty useless overall, but since your grade was curved based on the professor you had, it made more sense to pick the class with the worst professor. Then there was the weekly assignments, which were the same for each professor, and extremely difficult. They were designed to basically require students to work together to get the correct answer. Or part 3, go to a TA lecture where the TA would explain specific problems. It became common practice to work with fellow students alternate going to TA sessions to get the answers and share them with everyone else. Professors were very aware of this, and encouraged since seeking help and working with others is how engineers should operate. If you can’t deal with that, you were not going to cut it in the real world. The last part was the tests, which were basically a minor expansion on material covered in the assignments. So you had to copy others work AND needed to understand what you were copying in order to succeed. Again, a useful skill to develop.

As a result, those who couldn’t get along with others AND couldn’t absorb the material, didn’t do so well. The few women did well on assignments, as there were plenty of blue pill guys to help them out, but the tests destroyed them. The men that failed usually failed at working with others and thus had no chance with the tests.

    Ok. Then do it.
