i simply said NO, and continued walking. But what made me laugh, was the hive mentality … a woman no taller than 5’1 instantly turned to her and said “what do you need ?” … Like she, a woman even shorter than the bitch who asked me for help, was going to do any good LOL !!!

It makes me laugh, these c~~~s left their traditional gender roles 35 YEARS ago, and they still expect us to hold up ours ? haha i don’t f~~~in think so !

Only last Christmas, I was sitting in a pub and we were by some stairs that were roped off because of a party upstairs. Some young female member of staff came down and had stuff in her hands and couldn’t get past the stand/rope and gave me a helpless “can you help” look – I’d had a couple of drinks so my inner white knight kicked in and I stood up and moved the thing to help….for my trouble I got no thanks and a dirty look

that brought me to my senses and I wasn’t going to help her again. Where I put the thing down left a gap that the dumb bitch could fit through afterwards though and in hindsight I should have moved it all the way back

I’ve gotten similar ‘tall guy’ requests. If the person is elderly either male or female i’ll assist but otherwise i’ll tell them to seek out a store associate for assistance.
