    Singledad984,

Vasectomy not a bad idea, but consider wearing a condom also. Even condoms don’t fully protect against HSV and HPV. So be careful

I’ve been happy with my decision. A lot of guys are very attached to fertility being part of masculinity, but if you are choosing sterility that doesn’t indicate any problem with your equipment.

Still run from any chick that wants you to raw dog, because others have been there before you in her quest to hook a big daddy’s wallet. The condom is for your protection too, and any woman that you aren’t being monogamous with is a threat even if you don’t have to worry about getting caught in daddy jail.

Pain was relatively minor and lasted for much less than a week for me. There’s no discernible difference in what comes out either if that’s a concern.

As a last thought, when your doc tells you how long to wait before taking your modification for a test ride LISTEN. I didn’t and it brought tears to my eyes when the pressure hit. That felt worse than any surgical or post operation pain. If he says two weeks or four, just let the professional that you are paying good money for earn that pay.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

Getting a vasectomy was absolutely the best $590 I ever spent on myself. Today I received confirmation that I am now shooting blanks (I had the procedure done early January of this year). If you decide to go through with it, make sure you get the confirmation that you are sterile before you proceed to give it a test drive, and always wear a condom to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases. If you have any questions about the procedure itself, feel free to ask.

If it has tits or tires, you know you're going to have problems.

Had it done almost year ago. After the initial pain – you
should be fine. So glad I got it done. Not all of us can or really want to avoid real pussy. Especially the younger brothers. When you add a firm round ass and nice bouncy rack, it can be hard to turn it down if offered. The peace of mind of knowing you won’t be hung by those same b~~~~ for 18 years is worth the brief pain and cost. True, the STD part is still there. But she is far less likely to dupe you about STD than birth control since there is no financial incentive.

I don’t regret my vasectomy for a second. The procedure was painless and it was only a little sore for 3 to 4 days afterwards, but I guess it varies from one guy to another but the point is the pain isn’t an issue. Your baby gravy will look pretty much normal, mine is a little more watery but I produce more of it and while I used to be a dribbler I’m now a gusher so it’s win win win as far as I’m concerned.

One thing to bear in mind though, vasectomies can reverse without warning. Its very rare, they estimate less than 1 in a 1000.

There is a moral question though. Do you tell them you are firring blanks? I would say not, it’s your body and your decision ( does that sound familiar?)

I can’t believe there are chicks who insist on no condom, do they give any reason? What possible reason is there for a chick not to want to use a condom? I would be very suspicious of any wiminz who said this unless they could show me a clean STD screen.

I only f~~~ pros these days and they always insist on a condom, but then again I rarely do PIV anyway these days, why should I do all the hard work when I’m paying?

I only paid 25 for mine. Best decision of my life.

To the above I’d add, it takes about 20 orgasims to flush the left over sperm. When the md told me that, I was like “yay. Time to

Vasectomy for the win. Can’t say it often enough.

As for STDs, go to Planned Parenthood and get a comprehensive test (where they include HPV which is so common they don’t usually bother to test for it).

Chances are you already have HPV. Probably HSV1 as well. I’m not going to tell you to take risks with your health, but I am going to tell you that pregnancy is the most likely of the sexually transmitted diseases you should be concerned about and the rest are a distant second.

Ditto the previous posts!!!! I’ve had a few STD/STI, and I don’t recommend you follow me down that path. Fortunately for me, everything I caught was curable. Fortune favors the bold, and Fortune punishes the foolish. Don’t be foolish. A condom will not, will not, save you from an incurable disease.

This is TRUE and actually quite shocking. Have noticed it as well.
“oh you don’t need that silly thing”.

    “uh…… YEAH….. I DO.”.

It’s quite incredible to hear women go on about “the great pains of childbirth” when they are so nonchalant (and even aggressive) about it. Then she gets pregnant and all you hear for the rest of your life is how “motherhood is the most difficult job on the planet“.

If you do get a vasectomy…. NEVER – NEVER – tell a woman.
You can but SO many sluts that way.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Regarding the Leykis video brought to us by KM, it’s only a matter of time before we hear of a guy who doesn’t tell “her” about his vasectomy til she gives birth, so as to rule out her having an abortion, and then she gets the courts to rule that since he “went along with it” rather than telling immediately, he’ll be held accountable 18 years for a child that isn’t his.
His having two documents and the letter from his attorney takes the cake.
From this, be fore-armed and fore-warned. Most of us are not that ‘perceived dastardly’ proactive in this department or maybe it’s just me.
To be ready, with unbelievable resources, to smash the living eff out of this type of BS is nowadays the minimum degree of preparation.
Develop a sense of smell so keen that the faintest whiff of BS is immediately registered in one’s brain. Instinct, instinct, that’s what women operate on rather than thought. A mghow has strong logic and never ignores his instinct’s inputs as well.

Damn i didn’t realize so many brothers here had vasectomies.

I’ll add my voice to the chorus – had mine done a bit more than a year ago. It was uncomfortable, but not painful. I was back in the gym in a week or maybe 10 days.

Overall, no changes to anything downstairs – except the lab tests that say i don’t have any swimmers. Hear that silence? That’s MattNYC’s peacefulness of mind!

Good move. Just be certain to document the hell out of it. You need multiple certified test results proving you’re shooting blanks, because just because you’re sterile doesn’t mean she can’t get pregnant by someone else and lay it at your doorstep.

The paperwork is more important than the procedure.

WTF, Never heard of a STD?

While STDs are still a concern, the most important reason to always wear a condom is so that women don’t suspect you might be fixed. Nothing kills a woman’s ardor more than finding out she can’t baby her way into a man’s wallet.

Condoms are also a useful way to dispose of any unwanted hot sauce you might have lying around.

This is TRUE and actually quite shocking. Have noticed it as well.
“oh you don’t need that silly thing”.

    “uh…… YEAH….. I DO.”.

Consider this risk as well: you are not the only man she’s said that to. Do you really want to get into that?

: “Oh you don’t need that silly thing.”
: “Oh. I guess you’re tight. I don’t need this after all. We’re done here. I’m out. Goodbye.”

I think of a vasectomy as a $600 dollar insurance policy that can save you from a very real risk of paying out $60,000 to $600,000.

Money well spent. A good investment.

You’d be surprised how stupid some people are or how stupid they think you are. I was about to bang a Filipina girl here in Kuwait and she didn’t want me to wear a condom. Her reason? She’s afraid I’ll leave it in there and it’s “yucky”. Yeah right. Either you’re very stupid or you think I’m very stupid. Clearly trying to hitch her wagon to me.

Great to read you’re getting a vasectomy, SingleDad.

Please do keep wearing condoms. First, it will keep them guessing and, second, women are sewers. You need to protect yourself from things other than pregnancies.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

    Good work.

As was already said, condoms don’t fully protect against herpes, warts, or HIV (micro abrasions such as from shaving the base).

But you’ll be safer against sneaky bitches.
