I think this video is worth watching:

I’m not at the stage where I’m living well, but I’m making an effort to get there.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I believe most of us could agree that part of MGTOW embodies the concept of “living well is the best revenge”.

Usually most of those that harm us are already on the path of self-destruction. All we have to do is stand back and watch.

It truly is; miserable people hate seeing happy people because they have a fear of missing out, so in order to feel in control and subsequently feel happy they try to make others miserable. A vortex of apathy if you will. I believe one of the ‘laws of power’ is to avoid the unhappy as it spreads like a disease.

Usually most of those that harm us are already on the path of self-destruction. All we have to do is stand back and watch.

I think the problem with these people is that they are the most cognitively dissonant of all people and have some form of learned helplessness/external locus of control and are ‘always the victims’. It’s sad that they have such misconceptions, but it would be vain to try to help them see truth.

In my younger days, I had a “victim of society” complex, and I cursed anyone who had good fortune. Today, I mostly focus on my own life and ignore people. I realize that I can have my share of the good fortune if I’m willing to work for it.
