One time by accident I forgot to get my shaving cream out of the cabinet while I was in the bathtub needing to shave, and I learned of a better alterative to using shaving cream for shaving and it works very well for me. Rather than using shaving cream, just use bar soap, and don’t rinse the soap off; just the soapy areas as if it was shaving cream. The skin on my face, chest, shoulders and back are as smooth as a baby’s ass. As long as you need to soap yourself to get yourself clean, save your money on shaving cream and just use bar soap. Works just the same.

This is what I use. Shaving cream is too expensive. 5 oz tub lasts about 4 to 6 months.

    This is what I used:

Yep. Nothing. No razor burn ever, because I’m not a pussy.

By using soap in the shower all those little whisker cut-offs must act like a scrub brush.

I’d probably get electrocuted using my dog trimmer in the shower.

Use shaving soap and a brush. “old school”

Have to use shaving soap. Dry shaving with my whiskers I might as well try to shave a wire brush.

Well it works well for me, and I wouldn’t use a dog trimmer, electric or not, against my face and chest and back. I just tried with bar soap and my Fusion razor, and my skin from my upper lip to my belly looks and feels the way it should if I wasn’t unfortunate to grow hair there.

Why shave at all? Waste of time and money. If you don’t have good facial hair genes or it hasn’t filled in yet, ok, maybe tighten it up a bit. I only use scissors for my hair and tache/beard.

I noticed that too. One time shaved after having a shower and I was able to shave my beard (not grown too much) without any shaving cream and no resistance.

If it was dry it would be impossible.

Exactly! There’s too many “MGTOW” who still live up to the expectations of gynocentric society. I say get rid of all the bulls~~~. I’m not shaving just so I can look better to women. I don’t give a f~~~ what women think of me. Actually I’d rather have them not be interested in me.

I would be ok shaving with soap only, but my skin becomes a red mess under the chin and itches like hell so i don’t really have a choice, if i want to shave i will need hot water and shaving cream.

Currently i don’t shave, but i don’t think you should just leave it all natural either, you will end up looking like a hobo or something. Untouched beard may look like pubes or it seems like you didn’t shower for a few days. If you are ok with this, that’s fine, but i like to trim it.
