Has anybody else watched this film? I know it mostly focuses on MRA and Feminism, MGTOW is explained a little at the end, but I thought it was a great film. Cassie Jaye makes some pretty good points. What are your guy’s views and opinions on it?

What people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle. Rise above. Focus on science.

It was admirable in its own right and is somewhat useful. I give it a C+

It does little more than inform the viewer that a few Men’s issues exist. Then it severely questions those facts, admits to some of them and concludes on an empty note.

The movie was more about ‘her feelings’ than the relevant topic at hand.

Extremely relevant topics were left unscathed: too numerous to list but here are a few… hypergamy, sexual dimorphism in general. The fact that women and men are two completely differently types of beings anatomically and psychologically. They don’t even mention anything about evolutionary biology or evo-psych.

The Red Pill doc is a ‘subjective feelz good’ “documentary” rather than an objective and planned out expose’ of the real issues about the manosphere.

I agree GravelPit…I gave it a C+ or a B-, but mainly because it provoked some thought and because it wasn’t the typical exercise of bashing male concerns, even if it gave them rather surface-level coverage.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

Better to live the RED PILL than just watch it! I haven’t seen it yet.

It was alright, we can see it as a first step, people are coming to a realization and that is better than nothing. We can’t expect everyone to understand MGTOW mindset right from scratch.

I think the film maker, Cassie Jaye, has been black listed by Hollywood for making “The Red Pill”.

If you go against the matriarchy you will be crushed.

I watched this video of her explaining her mindset while making the movie.

    Cassie Jaye just wants attention.

MRA’s have accomplished nothing. The laws just get worse by the year.

Nothing will ever change until men decide they have had enough.

Haven’t seen it and I don’t listen to feminist chameleons.
The MRAs are fools for letting the feminist chameleons worm their way into the movement and control the narrative.
That is why nobody sees them as a legitimate threat!

I write film reviews, and I gave it 3.5/4 stars. I don’t necessarily disagree with the arguments made by those who would give it a C; however, it’s worth keeping in mind that the film is explaining a concept which your average guy on the street knows NOTHING about, and which MGTOW know EVERYTHING about. How much is it reasonable to expect?

Think of a documentary you’ve seen about a topic you knew nothing about beforehand. The documentary may have covered a lot of basic ground and given you some general knowledge that helped introduce you to the topic in question. When I watch a documentary as a layman, I appreciate it if the documentary is able to cover the basics honestly and efficiently, recognizing that a 2 hour film can only cover so much ground. An expert in that particular topic might justly dislike the documentary due to oversimplifications and omissions of important material, but these things are necessary for novices. (For example, I cringe whenever I read basic introductions to Plato or Aristotle because they gloss over extremely nuanced distinctions with extraordinarily broad statements, but I have to admit in fairness that if they were more detailed, they wouldn’t be introductions anymore.)

I think the documentary was very thorough in exploring the most common and relevant of men’s issues. Will it effect any changes? No, but it may be the catalyst that sends more and more men down the rabbit hole, through MRAs, PUAs, and ultimately to MGTOW.

It was a great attempt to bridge the gap for people with zero knowledge on the subject, and some of the true double-standards by which men are made victims.

Yeah ok, so she was a chick. But FFS at least someone on the other team has tried to point out the truths. B—hs that went after her were the usual man-bashers and harpies.

Some truthful statements is better than the bigger parade of lies. Give credit where it is due guys.

Depressing part is that it ruined this smart young unicorns career as the femi hit squads and mangina media came after it with a vengeance.

"Women have become so full of hatred that they are blind to reason and humanity. That which they practice will be the end of humanity, long before any war that men may fight.." "Women are predators by nature. Why else do you think they are so quick to gang up and go after a man they hate for showing any sign of weakness?"

I just NEVER got the point of listening to a Women talk about MEN’S Issues.

The point is that only women are PERMITTED to talk about men’s issues. Had a man directed this film, it never would’ve seen the light of day.

Watched it, and while it’s a decent primer on the MHRM, I don’t really subscribe to the solutions they are fighting for.

Its a good film for those starting to question and those looking for answers. It led me here to my brothers…Never looked backed…

That’s a good point Can’t Stump Trump. Changing mind often requires an evolution before the possibility of a revolution.
