Yesterday while driving the company vehicle to make drop-offs I heard a interesting commercial advertising Jewelry. I wish i remembered the name of the company but I will hopefully hear it again. The whole theme of the commercial was “MAN UP”. The guy in the commercial was basically shaming men,” real men don’t play video games, go to the mall, spend time on the internet. real men interact with females and blah blah blah.” By the end of the commercial the narrator said “Man up and buy that “special” someone a real wedding ring.” I wish i remembered the actual name of the jewelry company, but just wanted to inform you gents. The company names starts with a B. If anyone knows or has heard the commercial, post it. Great example on how the media is shaming men into marriage.

All I can think of is “Birks” jewelers. They are a 3rd-rate Canadian jewelry store you can find in s~~~ty shopping malls… next to the food court where they sell egg rolls and sparkly iPhone holders. The kind where you can buy your obese girlfriend a little diamond crumb with a 15-month payment plan.

    Isn’t that romantic?

I can’t wait to hear it so if you or anyone finds it, please post it here.
In the mean time, enjoy this one:

…. and listen to the girl who phones in and demands it.

Real men wouldn’t buy wedding rings? Diamond rings are way over priced, they are practically worthless. They are not even rare as they claim.

Not sure about the B company but spence diamonds had many billboards encouraging men to waste their hard earned cash on diamonds for their bride to be. that’s right suckers, waste the 2-3 months pay on a piece of jewelry that you have over 50% chance of never seeing again, and doing it all over again for the next hag if you didn’t catch on the first time. the ads talked about how precious the bride to be was, and of course the only way to show her just how precious she was, is to spend thousands of dollars on her- because that is sure to make the marriage work.

the feminists should have been all over that ad campaign- publicly promoting patriarchal stereotype of a man supplying expensive jewelry for a woman. tell your friends you cant talk out of marriage that for the sake of equality give her nothing more than a prenuptial agreement, or insist the bride buy him a 2014 ZX14, that should start to equalize things. Also he has something nice when he comes to his senses leaves her in a few years.

Haha I like that idea, but you know how women are. Want equal opportunity but not equal responsibility. Plus alot men nowadays are f~~~ing idiots, constantly boosting the self-esteem of these bitches. Any man that marries nowadays is an idiot, no sympathy from me.
