I Have To Train My Female Replacment Come Monday

So this coming Monday some, “cute young blonde” as I have been told by a few co-workers, will start in my office. I am basically training her as my replacement. My company is going through this huge tech upgrade and buying all this fancy new equipment. They have a list of people that are supposedly going to be shuffled and reassigned to new/different duties. I guess I am one of those people.

A part of me is slightly worried I am being pushed out the door but I actually have great relationships with many of the people above me. I’ve practically been a model employee over the last two years.

I’m not an idiot though and I believe that job security is a completely bulls~~~ concept. There’s no such thing.

My biggest concern is having to deal with all the asshole guys I work with because once they know she’s in there, they will be coming in all the time to hang out. People drone on and on anyway with me because it allows them a few minutes distraction before they have to get back into the warehouse.

It’s going to be 10x worse when she starts. This biggest f~~~ed up part is that I have a door to my office I always keep open. I don’t want to close it with just her and I in the office alone.

I’m f~~~ed either way on this.

If you expect a bunch of thirsty pussy-hounds to be lurking in and around YOUR office,
I would pre-emptively let your bosses know what you expect and make sure you have their blessing and support in chasing them away when they do.

They will be nothing but a distraction.

Also, as others have said, keep your distance from the honey-trap.
She may only be there to claim harassment against someone to further her career.

Your company is moving you out to fulfill some kind of HR quota.
Please do not put yourself in a position where you are alone with her.
I see her as the bait so she can claim you molested her and the company can get rid of you for cause.
Get yourself some of your own cameras because the company’s cameras can mysteriously malfunction.

I don’t have any bills due until January. I like to keep that nice little buffer ahead. Something I learned from my step-dad. Not my mom.

Last time I was in this sort of situation I handled it so well that the girl actually believed I was gay, and that I was ashamed of it. She never tried to hit on me again and I could focus on more important things.

Even if there are company cameras in there you need some form of hidden cam (WITH AUDIO) for yourself. Don’t for an instant think that the company cam’s are there to protect you. They are there to protect the company. You need your own cam there so if the cute blond monkey branches to an executive and wants you out of there, you have protection. Better yet if she tries to manipulate you, you have audio and video proof she is a THOT.
