I became a MGTOW because this was the only logical solution for a man survive in a world replete of gynocentrism and biased against men!

Umm … this one is a bit more inscrutable than I can decipher. Can’t argue with the miniskirt motif though.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

interesting ..seems a bit off though ..he’s good at being a loser ? i can’t identify with that..the ” loser ” label is shaming ..and as i saw it explained here on this site , hate is NOT the right word to use to express how you feel ..i really don’t ” hate ” anyone..it’s too heavy a burden to carry .. HATE is some HEAVY S~~~ !

I think would be better for you to watch the anime to understand better the protagonist!

The translation “hate” is inaccurate in this context, I believe. The Japanese word “kirai” is used in the opening sentence “Yasashii onnanoko wa kirai da.” The sentence literally translates to “Kind girl(s) [speaking about] disliked are.” So unless this character. Is a quiet psychopath who could use the word kirai to mean “loathed and hated” the way an English speaker might say “I find nice girls distasteful.” But really mean he thinks they are the worst people imaginable, he is expressing a mild distatste, not an openly hostile hatred.

In such cases it’s best not to depend too heavily on subtitles as they try to convey the jist of what is being said but that depends just as much on voice tone and character and context as it does on the word itself.

it is a great animĆ©; i already saw all the Ć©pisodes that came out. Infortunately the male is pictured as beeing at fault and the more the story goes the more he will go “blue pill” and be saved. still the first season is priceless and everything that he thinks is right to the bone.
BTW doc fenderson is totally right when it comes to the word kirai and its use in this particular case…
Hachiman’s the man, no pun intended

Unfortunately the male is pictured as beeing at fault and the more the story goes the more he will go ā€œblue pillā€ and be saved.

Because the streets of Tokyo are just groaning under the weight of all the super-kind girls full of love, affection and honest caring whose gentle pressures will eventually melt the cold heart of a socially awkward and embittered guy whose osananajimi (girl-next-door character he feels destined to pair with) was taken from him before he could nail her.

Haven’t seen the program, just guessing that’s the story.
