I had a similar situation. It was a 4 passenger plane, only one pilot. The passengers were myself and two women, one of them the standard American cow. The cow was planning on the larger seat upfront with the pilot. I asked her if she could fly a plane. I told her I could fly one and I’d feel real dumb if something happened to the pilot and I was in the back seat. I sat up front.

I does seem a little extreme to fire a Pilot over a comment (careful, wasent that what women were doing?).

I am not saying you should have agreed to putting ladies at the front, but firing the guy might have been a bit too much.

No I told them I don’t value services that do not take in consideration me being tall and forcing myself in a cramped back seat on a private plane. This is all gave me the impression the pilot wanted to look good, and possibly flirt in front of my female employees, all of which are married.

If it costs you your peace of mind, then it is too expensive.

I apologize for my meme reply but it is both succint and apt in this instance: Rekt.

If had said, “ladies sit up front cause I need a blow job”. I would have understood.

It’s not like he and the women would care about this “detail” anyway.

There's no fate but what we make for ourselves.

the pilot said he was trying to be a gentleman and by doing so, implied that you were not. If he did it within hearing distance of the women on the plane, then he was trying to make himself look better to them (at least by his definition of better) at your expense. Pilot is probably the son of single mother who raised him to be a well trained suck-up to his female masters.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

I wouldn’t be too hard on the pilot. It’s just an old airline tradition. Back in the days when there were open c~~~pits/cabins, the men forced the gals to sit up front…

Masculine_Man, you did what a man does if he is, in fact, a man. You took charge, you took action.
Life is never perfect. You just do what you have to and let the chips fall as they may. Do not be concerned if your actions are criticised.
I have a saying, “It is a privilege to be hated by fools.”
Stay strong, stay in control. You are the right man for the job.

Being a man is incredible good luck. Do not waste it on the unlucky.

Completely disagree. Back in the old days, WOMEN STAYED HOME so they would not destroy society. A lot of things were different back in the old days.

    Nice one !
Nothing against suggesting reorganizations, that’s not the problem, the problem is that is clearly obvious that you will suffer like a men in a can the whole fly it you change seats, for some c~~~s just have “other” seats (in an analysis that it won’t bring any improvements for them).

Like for example, I asked my brother once to sit in the backseat of my car, was only me and him. Why ? I’ve a small car, he is big and was carrying 2 cakes (4kg each), in each hand. He didn’t want to make me look like a cab, but sometimes we need to be analytical, f~~~ what people think, do it in the minimum loss/minimum problems way.

Chivalry is extremely counter productive, is a loss for no reason, is a high cost for nothing.
