    If you lack discipline and self-control, drinking alone can become a bad habit and hazardous to your health.

    Fantastic ending. The look of rejection by the actress is well done.
    When he first walked into that bar I was almost expecting to see a guy named Trinity sitting in the shadows at that corner table.
    Lately, I’ve been watching too many spaghetti westerns 🙂

    I too drink alone.

    * It is cost effective, to say the least.
    * My house is far more pleasant than any bar I’ve ever been in.
    * It finesses the whole drunk driving thing.
    * Even with a snoot full, my cooking is better than bar food.
    * It caters to my reclusive tendencies.

    I always enjoy a good George Thorogood song. Not only do I usually drink alone, but I also drink at home,

    Beer, liquor and wine cost about a dollar per drink or less when you buy in quantity and aren’t paying for fancy mixers, bitters and garnishes.

    And if you’ve got a regular girl, you can get her to come over and bring a six pack and you can basically drink for free just for letting her hang out in your house (which is much cleaner and nicer than hers) for a couple of hours.

    Why would you go to a bar or, God for bid, a nightclub, when you’ve got better atmosphere, better music, better and far cheaper drinks and pretty much a guaranteed lay right there at home?

    Thanks for the great replies, I like the ending a lot! All great points you guys made. .IF I have a drink or two, it’s usually an hour or so before bedtime. .always with something to snack on. .at home!
