As I remember, I mentioned that women prefer the following in order:

You didn’t trigger anything. As I remember it, I gave you advice and wished you the best. You failed to create a s~~~storm and failed to impose your views. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and moved on, encouraging you to become a contributor here. You even thanked me, saying my attitude gave you great encouragement and made you feel welcome.
Now all this time later, you frame it as if you were some noble soul diffusing situations. Seems like classic troll tactics to me.
As to the rest of this topic, OldBill is either self unaware or is a troll, as I see it those are the only two possibilities. OldBill has little to nothing to do with my reduction of time/break from this site. He did come up in conversations between myself and Gambit, where we both laughed at him, his intelligence level and his act. But that was just coincidental timing, not a cause for anything.
I did not think OldBill merited any discussion when I cut back on this site. But seeing the problems he is causing, the decline in quality and the apparent loss of quality posters, perhaps OldBill does more harm than good and his presence is no longer healthy on this forum. I was not around for Old Sage leaving and whatever else happened. I considered him a quality contributor.
I consider Gargamel a quality contributor. I consider Sky-O a quality contributor. Ask them both and they’ll both tell you we’ve had disagreements, even flare-ups, but no lingering animosity whatsoever. There are many others that can say the same. All free thinking men will never agree all the time. They will seek to understand each other better with discussion, and then when there are fundamental disagreements on outlooks that they just will never agree on, they simply don’t read those and don’t comment on that, choosing to leave those alone. This is one way I check who the real men on here are. The real men can disagree and then love each other afterwards. The women and the f~~~~~s can’t, they’ll always throw passive aggressive insults out and will attack every chance they get in every thread, and then are too cowardly to even admit it, instead playing the victim and pretending they didn’t do anything. There are quite a few posters like that, I will not name them as they don’t deserve it.
The problem as I see it is something is going wrong with this site. Too many low quality posters are empowered and pull their bulls~~~ with no repercussions. Some level of it is fine and you can ignore it. But when the intelligent and quality posters start disappearing, which they naturally will when they don’t feel they get anything out of the site, it creates a death spiral that becomes hard to stop the longer you wait on it.
Whether OldBill is the cause of the malaise or not I do not know and I do not comment. Gargamel certainly thinks so, and from the nonsense I’ve seen from OldBill in this thread, he certainly is acquitting himself poorly. Again I admit I haven’t been around these last few months, I make no commentary on the pattern of behavior these last few months. From what I saw of Bill before I left, and again myself and Gambit both saw it and laughed about it, Bill is an inferior individual that has delusions of grandeur and a laughable attempt to become an authority figure. He does not actually have any official authority on this site, and I suspect in his work and personal life offline. Hence why he tries to belittle and bully the more trusting and naive members on here. To intelligent and accomplished men, he comes off as merely annoying and someone to be distanced from. To average men, his act appears to have authority and he creates a following. That following when it becomes established is extremely toxic and can theoretically destroy the community. In essence that is what Gargamel is claiming has already happened, and if you love this community you must take that claim seriously and scrutinize it. It is not something to dismiss at this point, that it’s gotten this far.
That is all I’m willing to comment on this subject, and I would not have even done that if I hadn’t coincidentally checked these forums, seen this thread, and had my name mentioned by different posters specifically. Especially to Mike, refrain from mentioning my name, especially when you will frame things as “triggering” me. I am not interested in being mentioned by Gargamel either, but his comments were at least more accurate.
