Anonymous6I don’t fit in. In the black community, your expected to uphold certain traditions, no matter how bad they are. And when you don’t, your considered an outcast, an Uncle Tom, or a traitor. I’ve never really fit in with my own people and it’s sad to say but it’s true. I didn’t grow up in a “hood”, I grew up in a small country town where everybody knows everybody, most of the people are related and everybody goes to church on Sunday. I didn’t grow up surrounded by gangs, i grew up around cows, and farmland. I don’t know what it’s like to grow up in fear of going outside because of the fear of a drive-by shooting, or constantly hear gunshots. If you hear a gunshot around where i grew up, someone probably just shot a deer, or is shooting squirrels. I don’t know what it’s like to have the neighborhood hoe get pregnant, and my name is in the mix. I’m just a country boy from Alabama. Hell, it’s even rare for a black guy to be 23 yrs old and NOT have kids. I don’t have any and don’t want any. No thank you. Kids are not for me. I deal with kids at work, and that’s the extent that i would want it. I don’t mind teaching kids, I JUST DON’T WANT NONE.
Is it wrong to not want a wife or kids. What’s wrong with me working for what i want. Spending my money how i want to spend it, invest how i want to invest, and save want i want to save. Why can’t I have my land, with my house on it, and my two trucks in the garage. All i want is peace and tranquility. I want to be able to come home and relax from a hard days work. I know being successful like that will makes women try their hardest to lock me down, but the fellas on here have taught me the game, so i know what to look out for. But seriously, why can’t i just enjoy my life. Why can’t I go travel wherever i wanna go and experience new cultures.
Which is why i always say, i don’t fit in with my own people. I like Rock music not rap music. And if I say that out loud, the reply would be, “Oh that’s white boy music”. I like, no, LOVE trucks. I say all the time, I want two trucks and a house to park them at. I like lifted trucks with huge off -road mud tires on them. Again. liking things like that are considered “White Boy stuff”. I’ve had more positive experiences with white women, than i’ve had with black women. But your considered a sellout if you don’t like “strong black women, whatever that means”. Hell i remember being told that i shouldn’t even come home with a wife that wasn’t black. Hell i respect law enforcement, I plan to buy a bunch of different firearms, not to do anything wrong with, but so i can hunt, and go to the range when i want to. It’s just so weird that because i’m black i’m expected to adhere to standards that aren’t mine. I’ve often thought of myself as a white guy in a black persons body. I just don’t like the things that most black people like. I don’t get excited when i see some politician hungry for the black vote, so they dance to rap music and act like their hip. (Which is really all it takes to get the majority vote).
But the biggest one would be that i’m not a Democrat. I’m a God Loving, Gun Toting, Freedom Having, Conservative Republican. And it does my heart good to see that Trump not only has between 15 – 24% of the black vote nationally, it makes me feels better about his chances to win. People we gotta take our country back. And like it or not, Trump is the choice. But anyway, does anyone else feel like this, like you don’t fit in somewhere or you chose a path different from most people. Obviously MGTOW is a road less traveled, but what else??
Two trucks? Now you’re just being unreasonable.
I mean, two? Well, one for work and one for play I guess… but man, that is excessive!
(This reply is fully tongue in cheek – I applaud your defining your success and striving towards it, no matter what people say)
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
Anonymous54I know Black people that where raised by Whites. I know black people that moved to the suberbs. They are afraid of other Black people. An interesting phenomonon.
I like r+b and jazz.(i guess i should mention im white) Most of my friends in life have been old Black dudes.
Rules are meant to be broken. Enjoy your trucks ,guns, and rock music.
I ve lived most of my life in the hood.odd huh?
Be yourself I allways say. When you see what others don’t, you will always be an outcast. I would have loved to grow up in the country like you. I have to travel to let my son know what it’s like to carry a 22 on his shoulder and have people walk by and ask ” how’s the hunting kid”, and not call the cops. Don’t think your alone bro, I’m an outcast from my family.
The truth is eternally patient. You will not convince anyone. My litmus test is always the bbc clip of building 7, standing while the reporter is announcing its collapse. Cognitive dissonance
When you find yourself in the majority, it's time to reflect.
And by the way, your ” people” are in this group. I’m one of them. I bleed red, do you?

I work with a lot of black professionals. Engineers, HR Managers, CAD specialist, lawyers and so forth. I can’t claim to understand the social issues you experience. I can imagine the pressure is very stifling when you feel forced to act one way and it is not who you are.
I do know around here just about every race is represented and everyone is treated with respect and dignity. So those places do exist. I hope you land in place where you feel accepted for who you are.If you rescue a damsel in distress, all you will get is a distressed damsel.

Anonymous42I’ve never really fit in with my own people
Judging people based on skin tone is the most ignorant and arrogant thing a human being can do!
Venom, I have black friends the think exactly like you, exactly like us, exactly like me, everything we think and do is based in a mutual understanding of logic and wisdom. I don’t know about you but when I’m around people I know and trust the skin color isn’t what I see, I see the smiling faces, the individual personality, and trusting based on mutual respect and cohesion.
I don’t read in color, shades of grey, the only black and white I see is in the print.
I’ve had more positive experiences with white women, than i’ve had with black women.
ME TOO! I’m a white guy and throughout my life black women I never met were nasty and mean!
I grew up in an Italian/Irish neighborhood on the edge of the city, there was only one black family there, everyone knew them, they blended right in because they didn’t have the “black attitude”, no chip on their shoulders having grown up around a diverse mix of different kinds of white people.
Further into the middle of the city the black families were destroyed by government intervention and policies kicking the men out of their homes and building public housing. These were the first neighborhoods to fall into chaos with children being raised without fathers by mothers filled with resentment and anger.
The monster that destroyed these black families now boasts the greatest number of abortions all coming from these destroyed communities. Now it doesn’t matter what color a man is!
We’ve been targeted and slated for termination from any sort of functional family unit and reserved for the sole purpose of persecution and extraction! Black, white, brown, red, and gray!
Anonymous54And by the way, your ” people” are in this group. I’m one of them. I bleed red, do you?
That explains your sense of humor that i dig.
Anonymous6I understand completely, do whatever you wanna do, whenever you wanna do it. I got another post i’m writing now about how my professor in grad school says that men need to get married in order to have stability and order in their lives. I’ll finish that either today or tonight. But anyway, don’t put the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket.

Red blooded American

Red and White #CrimsonTide FootballJudgemental people. The people that keep you down are your kind. In life you have to succeed despite it all whatever your situation may be.
That is why understanding your audience is so critical to your success.
All men are up against it but a black successful man really has to overcome. Not only to achieve success but to maintain it. Being a man of ability is difficult enough.
Best of luck on your journey Venom
Peace brothers

Thank you brother, I hope to remain on this site for the long haul and post career milestones along my journey. It’s good to show people what hard work, sweat, and a little faith can get you.
What I do is I ask myself a simple question, would this person give a flying f~~~ about me should i need some serioous help. And it helps because it eliminates 99% of people from your give a s~~~ list. For me at least i know that close family would not betray me so i tolerate their ideas, as for everybody else, … couldnt care less about fitting in.
Also in 10 years, most of the people that want to manipulate you into something will be nowhere in sight. And you will be there sitting with consequences of your decisions. So do what you think you should do and not what you have to do to “fit in”.
The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny
I don’t care about your race, or politics, religion,… maybe your sports team I care about. All that noise is details, just be content as you are, it’s a good place to start.
Woo Pig Sooey!!
Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....
I’ve been outcast by family and the ex..
Less bulls~~~ is actually better than phony “love and respect “.
Stand tall!
We got your back brother venom.Good post Venom.
And I have a truck of my own, and love it.
