    LMAO!!!

I assure you, I LMAO2 when I wrote it too. But it’s really true. That parmesan cheese guy was first class all the way, and with all the lecturing everyone on “class” @freeghost did the other day, I hope he will appreciate it. Parmesan Cheese guy was no older than 22 and he was soon to be promoted to desserts.

Look at Martha Stewart. Made a goddam purpose out of napkin rings and filled a one hour TV show on the subject. Napkin rings. You sit down at the table and its the first thing you toss aside. Who gives a f~~~ about napkin rings. But people have jobs because of napkin rings. It just goes to show you don’t find a purpose …. you CREATE one. You take something stupid, pointless, retarded and insignificant and with some imagination you make it HUUUUUUGE.

See that MGTOW logo on our homepage?? Hovering over a city? NOBODY needs to do that. NOBODY needs to spend 2 weeks designing that, making a movie and 3D model out of it, 3 evenings putting metal texture on it, obsessing over lighting angles, camera blur, sound synching and sticking little helicopters around it to give it scale. But we created that. Taking something pointless and flat and making a VERY big f~~~ing deal out of it.

More than 6000 people looked at that today. Most of them more than once.
    That’s creating a purpose.

Otherwise a man could be out there feeling lonely and sorry for himself — thinking his life is entirely empty and without purpose — unless he is sticking his dick into a vagina. How f~~~ing sad and pathetic would that be.

Im telling you. Parmesan cheese and napkin rings can take you places no wife and baby ever will.

OK so you’re probably thinking well what good did it do us to obsess over that MGTOW logo thing for that long? Well that LEAD to something. Yesterday we created a teaser trailer for an upcoming major motion picture. It will be on youtube in a couple of weeks. I can’t tell you the title, but it’s a big deal.

This, to me is the take-away from this thread: discovering and cultivating your passion for something and honing your skill set for it to add value to youreself.

I cant speak for OPs intent or motivations, but Im sure at one point in our lives we have all felt bored/lonely/or without purpose. I know I have.

Having a passion for something, however trivial it might seem to some, and using that passion to ignite a desire within yourself and others for it, is what creates meaning and purpose individually and collectivelly.

Personally, Im not too intrigued by the art of cheese sculpting but the depection and details in which the story was told, coupled with the aspiring Maiter D resonates with me for the simple fact that we all need passions and inspirations.

Meaning & purpose are sometimes difficult to find in this upside down world. Especially as men, when everything is on your shoulders and noone else has your back. I dont think we “find” them. I think we have to DISCOVER what it is we are passionate about and cultivate that desire into a valuable skill set.

A career in Parmesan cheese is greater than getting married and having a family.

    God, I love it here.

Although, KM, why would you recommend Kraft Parmesan? Yecch.

I’m just spoiled from Italian great grandmothers and grandmothers.

Well it didn’t start out like much but it got better. OP is searching for meaning in this life that has really has no meaning unless we create one. And then I drank 4 black Russians ….. and managed to show how even a career in Parmesan cheese service is actually “a purpose” if you want it to be.

I had to be drunk to do it. I wouldn’t have arrived there sober.

My grandfather from my mothers side sold microwave components to NASA and my mother was the only women in advanced mathematics courses in highschool in a prosperous region. I never studied math in highschool and slept in algebra and still got straight A’s into college. Que me on your families achievements or yours? hahaha, did not want this to escalate this into a p~~~ing contest. You didn’t inherit a million dollars like I did because of my families genetic prowess you retard.

Well, now we all know why your lonely.

OldBill never attacked you, and as a member here, I enjoy his posts. If you came here seeking legitimate help/opinions/ answers Id oblige. But you tout off about inhereted genes and inhereted money. Who gives a f~~~?
This sounds like douchebaggery lines an idiot would feed to gold diggers at a bar. Your in the wrong environment my dissiluisoned friend. And insulting a member here by telling him he was a waste of sperm?
I dont know if your sincere or a troll but I can tell you this:Your not amongst friends here and I dont welcome you.
Your ideology doesnt fit in here at all.

While the topic is on cheese,,, I’m setting up for goat cheese and milk, I have eggs from the chickens, dairy from the goats, next it’s fish farming using the endless supply of fresh water from the brook! I had meat covered by the borg goats I had, but they were to friendly and I grew attached, their just like dogs in that their overjoyed to greet you. Maybe I’ll try turkeys for meat, those bastards will pluck the eyes from your head if you die in their pen, chickens too! I look at them as little raptors!
All I can add is; when you burn the bridge of female relationships and throw it all in the garbage can, LIFE GETS IMMEASURABLY BETTER! Women need men, not the other way around!
All I can say to GOD is; I want my spare rib back! Not that I need it, I just want the bitch that has it to disappear!

Parmesan Cheese guy was no older than 22 and he was soon to be promoted to desserts.

Oh my, this just keeps getting better. I hope you visit him so I can look forward to reading your eloquent second installment of Careers in Cheese as it segues: A Dictum on Desserts.

I can read it now – …”adorned in ivory gloves the young man shaved and sprinkled the nuts over my sundae with an unwavering passion that hasnt been exhibited since Pablo Picasso first touched a canvas”.

I just noticed the tags for OPs thread:

Big shot , c~~~, entitled, karma is a bitch.

LOL this is just the gift that keeps on giving.

    Hi Freeghost,
I’m late to this thread. I hope you’re well and in good spirits
I have a slightly different take. “Having no feelings” actually is common and is often a sign of depression.
I took the liberty of enclosing info from Wikipedia re: alexithymia. I don’t know you, but alexithymia is common and often goes along with depression. Does any of this ring true?
Alexithymia is a personality construct characterized by the sub-clinical inability to identify and describe emotions in the self. The core characteristics of alexithymia are marked dysfunction in emotional awareness, social attachment, and interpersonal relating. Furthermore, individuals suffering from alexithymia also have difficulty in distinguishing and appreciating the emotions of others, which is thought to lead to unempathic and ineffective emotional responding. Alexithymia is prevalent in approximately 10% of the general population and is known to be comorbid with a number of psychiatric conditions.
So, if “having no feelings” persist, please talk to someone. Some of the loneliness may be tied to alexithymia and depression. (If it continues, please talk to someone). When I get lonely, I simply sit down somewhere and talk to people.
(I think I may have worn out the barstool at my local pub)
The members here are very bright, caring people who possess a lot of wisdom.
A lot of us have survived battles with crazy ladies. (Many great stories). Anyway, I hope you feel better. Thanks

While this is a fine and caring piece of advice, it also can be the first step on the rather slippery slope of self diagnosis. I specifically cautioned against self diagnosis in my first post. Sadly that caution was lost when my post triggered an amazing conniption fit.

It’s been well known for decades that students in medical programs – and especially students in psychiatric programs – tend to self diagnose when first presented with diseases, syndromes, and the like. Self diagnosis isn’t limited to pre-med and med students either. The general public will often self diagnose too. In the past the only difference between self diagnosing students and the self diagnosing public was the information available to both. Thanks to their classes, students used to have more of it while the general public had to make do with articles in the popular press. Reader’s Digest was particularly notorious among the medical profession as, with each publication of it’s “disease of the month” feature, doctors would be inundated with self-diagnosed “sufferers”.

As it has with so many other things, the internet has changed all this. Now the information previously only available to students and doctors is only a mouse click away from a public without the tools to understand it. Instead of being a joke, self diagnosis is now a problem. Every other misfit and social retard is “autistic” or has “Aspergers” thanks to some on-line quiz. Every fat chick is obese because of metabolism issues or ovarian cysts rather than a fondness for fruit pies and Starbucks. So many people are self diagnosed as being depressed or having PSTD that we dismiss those actually suffering from both.

Use all this on-line information to educate yourself, use it to investigate your suspicions, but please leave the actual diagnoses to the actual professionals. This is your life, this is your most important possession, this isn’t something you should make guesses about. You want to be wholly certain before acting on a health issue.

So, if “having no feelings” persist, please talk to someone.

Again, excellent advise. My only proviso would be that he talk with a professional.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Oldbill: f~~~ing relax, mgtow can be used for anything including therapy. Send him to a professional how much is that going to cost? Is that Obamacare going to take care of him? Give him some prescription meds? Or bankrupt him?
Once he goes bankrupt, are you going to send him to financial professional?
    Hell, let’s go for broke!

I was warning about self diagnosis and nothing else. I do not believe that the OP needs psychiatric care.

Too many people use on-line checklists and quizzes to “diagnose” themselves and then act on the results. The OP is one. He most likely answered a few dozen questions on some web page, got a result akin to something out of a fortune cookie, and is now behaving as if it were true. The MBTI is fraught even in the hands of professionals, it’s results suspect, and it’s utility still debated after nearly a century. Sadly, the OP now believes his psyche and personality can be reduced to a four letter label. Even more sadly, the OP not only uses that label as an excuse to behave in the manner he does, but also as an excuse not to try and better himself.

The primary problem with our culture’s attraction to self diagnosis is that such diagnoses do nothing but provide excuses.

When we choose to we can do a lot to improve ourselves on our own and even more with the help of our friends. However sometimes – not every time – we may need professional assistance.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Cult followers on this thread, incredibly disconcerting. In terms of the political realm you are all conformists to the far left or far right. I hope you all enjoy your demise. Mgotw in it’s earliest stages used to be a well intentioned movement, now it is littered with virgin cult losers and hate filled profanity. Too much of a cultist realm with this movement. Keymaster, you should be ashamed with your lack of acknowledgement in this realm.

Any Mgtows here read this – I just hope you think for yourself. Take into consideration otheres that have endured the trauma of dealing with women, yet think logically about what you are dealing with and how to deal with current scenarios with dealing with females. MGTOW offers brilliant perspectives sometimes yet is too cult-like at other times. Quite reminiscent of an echo chamber.

If it has an “echo chamber” feel, it might have been because you kept telling us about your wonderful grandfather and wonderful mommy and all the money you where given.

If your IQ was so high, and you where so damn smart, you would not be asking for help from people who you think of as “virgin cult losers”.

So go work on improving yourself. If your emotional state is this unstable, there is no shame in seeking professional help.

No one here can help you until you help yourself.

If it sounds like an echo chamber here it’s probably because we have all come to the same conclusion on how to best live our lives, and most for the same reason. This site is by definition a group of somewhat like minded men, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to see a consensus on certain issues.

Also, with any website, I see many topics that I don’t feel like responding to and a few that I do. Throw away most posts, moved by a few. Hopefully you learn something when you log on. Make sense?

    And, for the record, 138.

how do I find a purpose without wanting a wife and kids?

There is no purpose. There is only what feels right for you to do.
eg: for me it was solo prospecting, two or three weeks at a time of hard work in the bush/wilderness to clear my mind of clutter.
Priorities surface after a while and there is your target or purpose if you like.

where do I derive meaning in my life.

No answer to meaning of life, as there is no answer in why we are here.
Therefore you can not derive the meaning of your own life. The more you try and search for it, the more unhappy you will be.

The best and closest thing you can do is to assess, what you have done, where you have been and who you are.
A list of pro’s & con’s so to speak, mentally or on a bit of paper will give you an answer that you seek and then you make your peace with it. It is not for others to give you any guidance in that department.

You say you don’t feel any more, but you do, otherwise you would not be asking in this post. You just need to simplify your life a bit or maybe a lot.
Try a minimalist approach in your every day life.
