I DON'T BELIEVE IN ALPHA MALES

According to a lot of people in the manosphere, males are either Alpha or Beta.

While i totally get the point, i’m sick of seeing people depreciating others by pointing out that they’re the beta, the provider. Which makes life look like a teenage movie where the cheerleader dates the captain of the football team.

My point is: there is no standard definition of the alpha male.Depending on where you are or how old, most of us could very well be switching between one or the other.

I’ve been on both sides and i don’t like to see men fighting to categorise others because here’s the thing: no matter how alpha you are, any girl can turn you into a mop in no time.

Look around you. Do good looking chicks date alpha males ? No, most of them don’t, they end up with ugly bankers or uninteresting nerds. The only girls who date guys their “level”do it because they litterally robbed him from another other inferior chick (brad pitt…)
Look at nicolas sarkozy. He might be president, but he is certainly no alpha. Look at chinese girls, they’re like princesses living models and they all date some anonymous nerd who look like nothing, there was even a poll in china saying that good looking girls date ugly guys, they don’t even want them to appear in the wedding picture. If you look good they assume you’re a playboy and will cheat and avoid you like a plague.

Football team captains end up with some “cute and simple chick’who turns out to be a harpy once she seals the deal,
rob him from his earnings and locks him at home by making babies so that he never steps one foot outside.

There is no nice guy gene. The only reason some guys act aloof and like they never care is because they don’t.
The secret to dating several chicks is to go for the ones you don’t really care about.
Cause if you did, you would instantly turn into bob the nice guy, if not at the begginning, later down the road.

So guys, open your eyes, we’re all losers here.

Alpha and beta are only concepts to divide and make us compete.
But we could all be either one or the other.

Go see the alpa male blond athletic cool guy with tattoos and a bike you know.
Chances are as we speak he’s changing diapers.
The Alpha male is not the animal who won the fight.
It’s a social construct that women use to destroy our self esteem and put us in competition, by making us think there is a hierarchy and some standards that every guy should achieve.

But here’s one thing.
The worst moments of my life, financially, have also been the moments i managed t bang more ckicks.
Because instead of relying on my looks or status, i actually made efforts to get them.

Women don’t use logic, only emotions which as we all know lead to very hazardous life decisions.
You don’t need to be a perfect guy, you only need to make them feel like they’ve hit the jackpot.

I would argue that, within any given group of men, there are natural leaders and natural followers. This is what I think it means to be “alpha”… to be the type of man that other men look up to, admire, emulate and follow. It could be looks, strength, or wealth but it could also be political power, intellect, creativity, wit, bravery or any other quality that makes an alpha male stand out among his peers.

When we talk about alpha males in the context of mating, I think the general idea is that females want to be with the best male they can find… the “top dog” of their dating pool… and they recognize such men by the deference that other men pay to them. A woman who wants to optimize her outcomes will generally choose the male who best represents the values that she, personally, believes will enable her to live a safe, prosperous and enjoyable life. Because different people have different values, there is no set definition of what kind of man that is.

So a young female might be attracted to physically aggressive males… jocks, rebels, players and bullies… because her limited perspective tells her that force equals power. But as she matures, she may move on to look for males who are more intellectually or socially capable as those skills are good predictors of future wealth in our society. After some time, she may learn to just go for the males who have connections and actual wealth that she can utilize or, if she is capable, revert back to chasing males for their looks and strength (once her economic needs are met, of course).

So being alpha isn’t so much about one’s ability to attract women, it’s about one’s own power to rise above other men and produce value in one’s chosen sphere of activity… which are the things that happen to be attractive to women. And being “beta” is, by comparison, the man who fails to achieve success among his peers and lives his life supplicating to or attempting to undermine other males while trying to convince females that he is either close enough to alpha that it shouldn’t matter or that she’s wrong to value alpha men in the first place. Usually all of the above at the same time, which is what makes white knights so damn irritating.

I have recently been in conflict with the term as well, and consider myself more of a Zeta male which basically means above influence, but to be honest no labels are needed. How about we label ourselves as FREE men no longer slaves to this blood sucking,man devouring system?!

I dunno where you’re getting this from. I never see an “uninteresting nerd” with a hot woman. What I see is pretty much the cultural cliches. Women go for fame and glamour before all else. If they’re not quite hot enough to get fame and glamour, they go for musicians, motorcycle bad boys, cool dudes, and macho man-in-uniform types.

The only time the bankers and nerds get into the game are when these women get tired of attraction mode (which rarely results in marriage) and decide to switch to supplication mode, usually after she’s older or has let herself go. The woman grudgingly “settles” for a less attractive guy because she values marriage more than attraction at this stage of her life. But she resents men for making her settle, and her unfortunate beta partner will become her figurative punching bag for life.

I have a personal opinion about the whole “Alpha Male” title,

To Me, the Alpha Male is a Man that has responsibility, that doesn’t take s~~~ from anyone, but at the same time thinks critically about decisions. Someone who is not only strong both physically, but mentally as well. Men who work hard, but play HARDER.

Treat people with respect, but aren’t walking mats either, assertive, as well as patient. To Me, the true “Alpha Male” were the Men of the 1940s and before. Men of integrity, who worked their asses off, took no s~~~, but also held themselves in high regard in public.

 

To some it may seem that Females go after the  wannabe “Tough Guy”, who has the Tattoos the huge muscles, and the bad ass personality. To a certain extent that might be true, I mean if you look around and see who’s arm a Woman is holding on to is sometimes that type of Guy. However that’s not always the case, Women will seriously f~~~ anything and I mean ANYTHING. I use to work with this Girl who had a damn near perfect body, face, figure and Ass that would make Kim Kartrashian slit her wrists in Envy. All the guys wanted to bang her so bad, (I wanted as well). She was Married however, to a guy who was 4 inches shorter then Her, (She was 5’7”) His hairline was receding and was overweight with gaped teeth.

He was a bakery delivery driver, so He wasn’t rich, nor were His parents. My Friend who is a 6’3” Former Super Model, had a beautiful Wife and two children with Her, He was a great Husband, took care of Her, gave Her the WORLD, also a great father who’d dedicate a whole day taking His kids out anywhere they wanted to go, and showering them with affection. After 9 years of Marriage however, She cheats on Him – for a skinny, nerdy looking dude who worked in the same office She did. She eventually Married Her Lover, they’re still married today.

 

It’s not always the  wannabe Bad Boys that get the Girl, sometimes these c~~~s go after Fugly lookin dudes as well. Believe Me, I have hours worth of stories of girls who went after the “Bad Boy”, however, like I said before, these bitches with f~~~ anything in front of them that shows them attention or…..MONEY. Or someone they can’t manipulate, control.

Totally agree with you there.

First i share your nostalgia for men of the past. My grandparents were the greatest family i ever had, and i respect how they worked together, each one covering the shortcomings of the other. It’s not that my Grandpa was perfect or supermacho, my grandma was no angel either, but she knew when t be strong and when to let him take the lead. She didn’t try to pussify him, she just respected him for who he was instead of trying to make him be somebody else.

About the ugly asses, i think that goes to show that the Alpha male definition is really relative.
But still, what i meant was that the definition of Alpha is different for everyone.
I feel people hide behind it as an excuse why they didn’t get the girl.
I see plenty of loosers hanging out with girls out of their leagues, just because they had the b~~~~ to try.

As you mentionned, how many losers with tattoos have i seen with beautiful girls that had no business being with such a douchebag ? How many Jersey Shore types have i seen with city girls that were WAY out of their leagues and social class ? But that’s a western thing. Don’t expect middle class asian women to get with a gangster unless he’s rich a powerful one.

We all have something Alpha. Communication skills, looks, money, culture, personality, i believe every one of us out there has something many women value. WHich is why i don’t believe in the Alpha/Beta categories.
