I do not know where to read private messages

Sorry to trouble you but I got a private message from another menber a week ago and I do not know where to read it. I have tried to wait, thinking this was a feature to be added soon with all the other work you have been doing to the forums, but decided to ask you now since I saw you were online.

Hi Duke. OK I’ll fix this for you in the morning no matter what.

On the profile page it says “testing roles now” which is something we’re just finalilzing to display Community Roles ( new ). Currently “roles” are not visible, but it’s high priority to finish this. When I know what the roles are, I can verify “permissions”. Otherwise there should be a “messages” tab under your avatar on the profile page.

I just took a look and I am aware that YOU don’t have this.
That’s what I will fix for you in the morning.

I have done this for 2 members already and tested a few PMs back and forth between me – and me logged in as them for testing. Once confirmed…. I will reach out and let you know with a thumbs up. Should probably give me until about 2PM tomorrow.

OK, just before heading off… I fixed it for you. It only required a small adjustment. I just sent you a PM as well, and you should see a “messages” tab on your profile where you can see your PMs. I know you can read and respond for a few exchanges per day, and we’re still tweaking this. In any case, you’re good to go.
