Aaron Clarey mentioned this in one of his books. The three paths that people can go by, is either a job that requires a STEM(science, technology, engineering, math) major, becoming an entrepreneur(starting up your own small business) or to go the minimalist route(you do not work very hard in life and at the same time can get away with it, because you have very few expenses). Now this advice that Mr. Clarey suggests to, is to people with high IQ. But at the same time, it shows that there is no shame in going the minimalist route since even Aaron himself suggests people with high IQ should go that route if they wish to do so. So overall, do you actually believe in Aaron Clarey’s suggestion of that there are only three career paths worth doing? Any insight at all would be great.

to be honest, i’m doing all 3 of those things!
MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

So you as a STEM major that has his own small business, that also has very few expenses to pay?

I am just kidding. Anyone else have any insight on this?

Going your own way: The minimalist option by Aaron Clarey:
I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of a woman, nor ask a woman to live for mine.

I just would like to point out that when I was learning programming in school, I could see how people like Bill Gates was very passionate and addictive to programming in general before Bill Gates himself made his big break having his own operating system program(microsoft/windows). The only reason why I did not continue to pursue it any longer besides doing it as a hobby was because I did not really see myself as a gifted programmer like people like Bill Gates. Like I did pass programming classes like C+ and java and it was fun, but at this point I would rather just do it as a hobby business where I might make a few bucks from it. To work in the corporate world as a programmer like Code Bunker here is doing, I know that it takes more than just trying to master one computer language. But I am glad that Code Bunker here is really happy how things are going in his life and I enjoy reading his posts. If possible, does anyone else have any insights on this topic about the three career paths?
p.s.maybe I will try to be a java programmer and try to get certified on it on the side, but it is gonna be hard to try to get people to give you the experience you need to put in your resume. Not sure if that is a corporate job though.

I had to fall back to the minimalist path, but I only see it as a temporary solution. It is a very comforting and therapeutic no-stress lifestyle, so now I’m struggling to find motivation to force myself to make steps towards paths number one and eventually two

Is there a fourth path for a minimalist entrepreneur? 😉
Pretend you’re rich, marry a rich woman, divorce and get half her stuff.
Is there a fourth path for a minimalist entrepreneur?
A lot of entrepreneurs who start off a business have to be very minimalist before their company grows to a point of profit, or else their company will not have a bigger chance of surviving the first year.
