I am very sceptical of this 'how to save your marriage advice'

I am very sceptical of this video which popped up on youtube. I do not know if there are cases of marriages being saved this way but I think this is an incorrect/dubious strategy that Tony Robbins recommends. Video is 8 mins so I will summarise. Robbins places the onus on the man to make the wife happy and fulfilled in her daily life for 90 days – the rationale Robbins makes is that THEN she will be ‘happy’ and will allow him the husband to continue with what he knows makes him happy i.e. his guitar playing and they will both be happy (she will not currently allow him to play much guitar which he loves to do).

A key question I have here – WHY should the onus be placed on the man to make and be responsible for the wife being happy and fulfilled in her daily activities/life – her artwork etc is mentioned? when he is already working hard, providing money, being a Dad, why should he be reponsible for her daily happiness/the way ‘she’ ‘feels’?. PLUS many stories on this website demonstrate men that have slaved, worked and given everything to their wifes/marriages for years and yet were still divorced and robbed of their assets by these socalled wifes..

Personally I have never been married and do not intend to be – is there ANY man in the world reading this website that has tried this strategy and had it work ? What percentage of men find this works in current society? Very low or ZERO I would say. Feel free to post and prove me wrong.

When I got blind-sided by the “I want a divorce” talk, in an act of desperation I dropped about a hundred bucks on a “fix my marriage” program. Long-ass workbook, videos, general self-improvement and “communication” stuff. Mostly focused on the man being in the wrong.

All these programs are the same. They all put the burden on the man because for some reason they think he already wasn’t doing everything.

(TL:DR) BEFORE marriage it’s all promises about how a woman will make you happy: AFTER marriage it’s all lectures about you having to make a woman happy.

Just watch how Robbins changes tack and contradicts himself when he speaks to single men about the benefits of signing a marriage contract. He’ll be talking all rainbows and butterflies, just the same as Jordan Peterson and all other tradcons in denial. They all preach how much happiness a woman will bring into their lives with marriage.

The real test for Robbins is to be honest and give the exact message he talks about in this video to a room full of single men about the actual expectations and responsibilities society imposes on men once they’ve signed a marriage contract, ,,,, and then see how many of the single men want to sign the contract.

The bottom line is that married men are trapped and have no real choice but comply with the impossible responsibility of trying to make another human being happy.
I can guarantee you Tony Robbins would be a world leader in knowing that no one on earth can make you happy except yourself. It would be the foundation of his belief system, and all other successful belief systems.
Yet, despite his knowledge and intelligence he simply can’t see the impossibility of what he’s preaching.

That’s a misguided and very dangerous concept.

Any woman who has an attitude that she is the important one (and deserves to be made happy, without putting in the effort to make her man happy), dump her on the spot and get a million miles away from her. She is dangerous. Very dangerous.
