But I find it ironic how everyone cares about the children of illegal immigrants, and family separation. Yet, no one wants to address that epidemic of families being divided by the court system for U.S. families. Hypocrisy much??

While I won’t reference any one particular news outlet or article (as it’s all over the place), I don’t really get how the particular subject of U.S. families being divided completely escapes the radar. I mean, I get it, ANY child separated from an able and willing/trying parent sucks. But, why is the whole thing bing skewered like it hasn’t been happening right here at home the entire time?

I have zero sympathy for illegals who are caught and separated from their children. I am a legal citizen and separated by court order from my children.

Don’t want to be separated? Don’t come here illegally and ask for asylum.

Don’t want to have court orders dictating when and where you may see your children, stop f~~~ing women and making children. You can’t miss what you don’t have.

Bad s~~~ like child separated from parents happens everyday. This issue is peanuts compared to the nation’s real problems. Of course the leftards are going to make a big stink about it for god knows why. The detained little bastards are getting 3 square meals a day, a roof over their precious little heads and free healthcare. Divorce court is tilted toward women therefor THAT type of child separation is justified because WOMEN get custody. 4. The media is making this an emotional issue. How do you combat that? You really can’t. All of the facts and points will not overcome the rage that the left is trying to produce.

I live in a state that has lots of boarder issues and illegal immigration. A very small percentage of these kids are being separated from their families. WHY? They are already traveling alone. Their parents dumped them in hands of strangers. That’s why the law was put in place in the 1990’s. To protect these kids from the prison system and or forced slavery. It was pushed as a humanitarian act. So if you revoke it, does that make it inhumane?

Very true. Only a small number are separated from ‘family’.

Here is what is going to happen, the children are going to be housed with the coyotes and children traffickers.

I agree that it is better to separate adults and children until the truth can be learned.

Actually, what I would prefer is, if you try to sneak in between ports of entry you should get a giant boot to your backside to help send you home.
