I’m not quite certain which one is the primary factor with the subject of “climate change”, however IMHO I do see an astonishing level of cognizant dissonance at best.

In this particular incident this manipulated piece of fluff does not recognize the absolute irony of the position it is in, how it got there, nor its current environment.
The old adage of “a picture is worth a thousand words” proves to be appropriate although it is actually words forming questions rather than an answer.
A lot of questions can be “answered” relatively quickly, however the questions need to be asked by each and every individual first.
Where was this “summit”?
How did she get there?
Who is putting words in her mouth?
Who is funding “her” agenda?
Why does she even have a voice?
How did a child of privilege somehow become a voice for “the world”? a family of entertainers and faux intelligentsia
Who the frik is this poster child, to demand that I sacrifice even more for her or anyone elses “future” that they are not actually working for themselves. Only making demands
Does she not recognize that everything she is currently espousing against, and for, are the very things that allows her the ability to be exactly where she is?
IMHO she is just another “rich kid” suckering others in to “her” charade

How about this.
Turn of the electricity that lights your home, your streets, your cities, your industries including those that feed you.
Reduce YOUR consumption of electricity to power YOUR devices, and YOUR privileged way of life.
Reduce YOUR consumption and waste before looking at others to sacrifice in YOUR name and ideology.
Tend to YOUR garden before you look at mine and demand that others do what you actually do not.

In the “western world”, long gone are the days of indiscriminate rapine of natural resources. Those that labour and develop know that there is only a finite amount of resources available, and are already taking steps to husband their resources and develop new technologies to replace those that can no longer be sustained. Cost/Benefit analyses is always in the forefront of NEW “stuff”.
Remediation of resources and areas used is an extremely common practice, yet given no accolades. Just demand for more with accusations of not doing enough.

This is only about control of wealth and resources for the few over the many. Nothing more and nothing less.
