A 60-year-old man has been arrested after shooting his wife dead because she served dinner later, according to police in India.
Ashok Kumar is accused of shooting 55-year-old wife Sunaina in the head in the city of Ghaziabad, near the capital of New Delhi, on Saturday night.

Kumar came home drunk and when his wife tried to talk to him about his drinking habits, instead of serving dinner, he became frustrated and shot her, police said.

‘She was upset with his drinking habit and wanted to talk about it, but he wanted dinner immediately. He got frustrated with the delay and shot her.’
India has one of the most well-known problems with violence against women in the world, brought to light after the brutal gang-rape and subsequent death of a woman on a bus in Delhi.
