True, and that’s because Gawker will go out of business. IIRC, in order to appeal the verdict, Gawker has to put up a tenth of the jury award and that amount of hard money isn’t there.

Their revenues are mostly “virtual”, click-thru fees and the like because no one writes a check or swipes a credit card to read Gawker’s sites. That’s why they specialize in clickbait.
